Chicago Outfit-Related Murders 1970's

While doing some research on the Outfit chart from the late 20's till now, I also came across this one list from the 70's who me and some of the boys discussed some time ago and so I though about posting it for you guys. Also, big credit goes to Snakes since he was the one who started this list with 72 hits, while I later added 21 additional murders including their alleged executioners. In addition, this a list of all Outfit-related killings (in Chicago and around the country) during that decade which portraits the Chicago crime family as one of the most, if not the top, individually murderous crime family in the country during that period. My point is that this was the result of the previous and numerous FBI operations which occurred during the 1960's and almost destroyed the crime syndicate. Also, if anyone has any additional info, like found some mistake or a conflicting report, or posses some missing info regarding other Outfit-related murders and hit men, please contribute...

Also what do you guys think about the Jay Vandermark alleged murder and the Marty Buccieri one, meaning were they positively Outfit-related? Because if they were, then the list might rise to almost 100 hits...

Jay vandermark was killed by jimmy lapietra after being tipped off to where he was by emil vaci, which is why they later killed vaci because they were worried he was gonna say something, and in the killing of seifert, jimmy lapietra and john fecarotta took part in the hit in addition to Lombardo and schweihs

@Pete thanks for the info. So what do you think regarding the date of his murder, meaning did it occur somewhere in September 76 or during the early 80s? Regarding Buccieri, i added him to the list since he was allegedly clipped by Spilotro and simply because he was the distant relative of the OG Buccieri

Buccieri was definitely an Outfit job. Add Petrocelli to the Michael Oliver hit list. I think he was the one that actually killed him while the others were there to only wreck the place.

Did losing control of the first ward judiciary w/ Pat Marcy and Fred Roti make it so they could not 'get away with murder'?

The prosecution and conviction of many high-ranking Outfit members had as much to do with the dropoff in murders as anything.

Snakes yeah most of the "ALLEGED" killers are presumed but the thing is that most of them are backed by at least some FBI rumors or alleged secret informant or police infos, and as a matter of fact, I would really like to hear your opinion on which killers do you think did not participated, since that was one of my questions at the beginning??? In addition, I wasnt asking about making this list as an BH chart but instead I asked you bout the Chi Outfit chart from the 20's onward....fuck it...I'll listen to Frank's advice and label it as BH....anyways thanks

Im positive on everything you asked and the first time which I recognized that was not by reading Cooley's book but instead by following Gus Alex's criminal history

I believe it was 76 or whenever he first disappeared. They tracked him down to some resort and nick calabrese said jimmy lapietra and I think john fecarotta killed him and took him out in a wheel chair and buried him in the desert
