not in Montreal! (yes, LE is different)

i tend to think its also different there due to the groups almost being satellite groups from Italy (and use to be Sicily)

the turncoats for N'drangheta is much less then Sicilians.

i think if any NY fams woyod see war, it would be the bananas. they are finally getting over the Massino damage... and now have leadership issues. most other fams rn are stabiler i think.

Good point! The GTA and Montreal guys really do get away
with MANY killings. Down in NYC, eventually guys would spill
beans that would result in tape recorded hits. LOL

if crews were ready to go to war in 2015 (palazollo bust) it could be quite possible they'd be willing to in 2019 when he gets out.

i wonder if any if this has anything to do w the fight for Canada. i doubt it...

has the Grimaldi crews ever pushed for leadership?
so would nicky santora or fish rabito run crews? seems Rabito could be consiglere position... but what about santora?
The Grimaldi's are content with Cammarano. He is Vito Grimaldi's son in law. And yes Rabito is Consigliere. The Grimaldi's the Zips and I believe Asaro and Rabito, not sure about Difiore are in one corner and Santora and Baldimenti are in another.

im suprised to see Santora and Rabito not sided together... they came up together a long time ago.

when yousay Santora and Badalmenti corner, is that the Mancuso side?

good point, but neither side wants that and they'd have to be real desperate.
JeremyTheJew wrote: Thu Dec 28, 2017 9:00 am i wonder if any if this has anything to do w the fight for Canada. i doubt it...
Definitely not but the fact that the Bonannos made Vincenzo in Canada in 2015 speaks waves.
JeremyTheJew wrote: Thu Dec 28, 2017 9:00 am has the Grimaldi crews ever pushed for leadership?
No, and until recently both the Grimaldis have only ever been soldiers. But Vito has huge sway with the Zips and is viewed as their foremost advisor. He has reportedly been influential in deciding the leader for years.
JeremyTheJew wrote: Thu Dec 28, 2017 9:00 am so would nicky santora or fish rabito run crews? seems Rabito could be consiglere position... but what about santora?
Rabito is confirmed consigliere, and has been that or on a ruling panel for a decade or so now, maybe longer. Santora is a Williamsburg capo whose crew seemed to be pretty strong. He had a Viagra and painkillers ring, online bookmaking, union infiltration, etc. But he hasn't been on the streets since 2013 due to that state trial and his health has taken a turn in state prison. Those places are rough.

I would say Santora and Badalament are in Mancuso corner. But the truth is we don't know if there is currently any trouble in the family. We don't know if Cammarano took over the family or if Mancuso named him to his positions. I would think that if it's accurate that Cammarano is acting street boss and Official underboss then he is acting for Mancuso or if there is going to bea boss and a street boss DiFiore. This whole thing might have been a Palazzolo problem and might be over. I put Rabitto on the Cammarano side because I read that he and Asaro were respected by the Zips. He he may be neutral. We just don't know when this all started.

Rabito seems to be neutral and seemed to be trying to straighten the problem out by attending meetings on both sides. Santora might be a Mancuso candidate because it doesn't seem like anyone from his crew or from his area was at the Cammarano meetings, in fact there didn't seem to be very many Brooklyn guys at all. No Badalamenti guys either. Also Ernie Aiello, Mancuso's nephew and top guy, reported directly to Santora.

who are the brooklyn capos besides Santora?
i took it for granted that the Zips or Grimaldis were a BK crew. The Zips had a presence in Ridgewood, Queens in the past due to knickerbocker ave going into it.

so who are the BK capos?

and where do Grimaldis have there crews?

i remember reading something about this as well, and reading him and his family still live in red hook, brooklyn. afaik , from what i remember reading, i think he was tailed from his house in red hook all the way to staten island for that christmas party that got a bunch of these bonnano guys in trouble.

bonannos are definitely the most interesting family around right now imho..lot of stuff going on lately. good for us readers/watchers, bad for...well...them

The Grimaldis operate around Ridgewood, Middle Village and Woodside. The Brooklyn capos include:

Santora crew: Graham Avenue, Williamsburg. His crew is involved in online bookmaking, loansharking, Local 917 of Teamsters, cialis, oxycodone and viagra. Members include acting capo Vito Badamo, who controlled Local 917 and was being groomed for capo, as well as Badamo's best friend, enforcer, and marijuana trafficker Anthony Santoro. Rabito used to be a member before being upped to consig. It's probably quite a large crew, just my guess though.

DeSimone crew: Kensington I guess? That's where Joe DeSimone lived and ran a jeweler's store for a while. Don't know much about his crew other than that it includes Frank Adamo and Joe's grandson Steven.

Pipitone crew: I think it's comprised of some old Knickerbocker Ave. guys. Anthony Pipitone runs the crew and his younger brother Vito Pipitone is a recently inducted member. Used to be ran by Louie DeCicco.

Badalamenti crew: Bensonhurst crew that congregates around the Banner Social Club. Badalamenti has only become active again in the past year or two because he laid low after supervised release. Some powerhouses include the Attanasio Bros., the father-and-son Calabreses, Vito Balsamo and Vincent Amarante. Apparently Anthony Calabrese has big operations in Staten Island, and Capeci once considered him a separate S.I.-based capo.

With today's indictments, the Cammarano as Acting Boss and Official Underboss could be over. Will be interesting what leadership will look like if he is denied bail. I guess right this minute Rabitto would be the head man on the street. But another interesting thing came out that two of the indicted we're identified as Consigliere. Maybe Rabitto is retired? Or it could be false info about the positions of these two. It isn't too far fetched that Cammarano would have had a new Consigliere, or two.

I predict that the Grimaldis will have the final say, if they don’t take leadership themselves.
