In regards to naming marcello boss. The way I remember the situation after black Sam retired to Florida that left difronzo number 1, then Joey a, and marcello after them. Situation being what it was Johnny went to prison, Joey a took the spot, then after Johnny got out both stepped aside in favor of monteleone. After apes died and Johnny and Joey not wanting that spot I think it was left to marcello. I don't know if it was them actually naming him or him just deciding he was taking it and no one could go against him since the top guys didn't want it and he was next in line. Can't argue with who was smarter. Difronzo and andriacchi are both gonna die at home as millionaires. Marcello is in supermax while the government has been going after all his possessions to satisfy that judgement from the family secrets case. If he stepped back instead of running things from prison they would have had a much harder time convicting him since you need involvement in the last 5 years for rico

I don't think it's gonna be dote. He's still very active but he's Marco's guy and I'm not sure if dote was made for sure. I've heard arguments both ways. The way I see Marco is at this stage he considers him above current outfit politics and does his thing. There's not anyone that could tell him what to do

Yes Pete I seem to remember that Addriacchi was not to happy with Marco. Can't remember the particulars but didn't it have something to do with Marco's plea deal back in the 90s

I'm not sure about all the particulars but I know there was a rivalry there both of them vying for the same spot. Marco was actually ahead of Joey a in the pecking order I believe but when he went to jail Joey a moved up and ended up being boss. Marco was indicted as boss of the elmwood park crew I believe. When he got out of jail he didn't like that guys like sarno and Joey A were above him and he was supposed to take orders from them. At least that's what I understood the situation was

I think Andriacchi was always higher than Marco. Marco had his own crew but he didn't run the entire Elmwood Park area.

According to this he was second in command to difronzo. Not saying your wrong but still I think the dislike was they were both going for the same spot

This one shows d'amico as boss of EP. Lombardo as boss, andriacchi underboss, and difronzo consigliere. Again though my point was they were both upper level and I think butted heads because of that

I've seen that before but there are a ton of errors. Jimmy LaPietra is on there and he had been dead for two years. Andriacchi was meeting with some very high up individuals in the early 80s. Not to say that proves what I'm trying to say or not.

I think we're on the same page pretty much lol. Basically different terminology. What you described could very well be the current administration as it has been my view that solly is currently above the day to day business. Solly is a guy who lives in lake county and runs a legit business that is 2 blocks from his house. Most days he doesn't leave that little area which made it hard for me to believe when I would read articles about "solly being driven around on his daily rounds" because from what I know his daily rounds are to and from work. He's no doubt a player but I believe above the everyday stuff. Probably has a few guys he meets with regularly. Keep in mind he did a lot of time he doesn't wanna go back in at this age. Running the streets I think would be vena and cataudella. Again these are just my opinions I take no offense to anyone that thinks otherwise lol

Was reading through an FBI file on Sam carlisi. It says his father joe carlisi did federal time. I know sams brother Roy was a member of the buffalo family I don't recall hearing about his dad, anyone know if he was a member of either buffalo or Chicago?
