Thanks for the link Donnie
The gambling offenses included illegal poker games, electronic gaming machines and internet sports betting. Officials said several of the suspects distributed a variety of narcotics including cocaine, marijuana and Xanax. Authorities said Saladino and Salerno engaged in the distribution of wholesale quantities of cocaine.
"When – when did I ever refuse an accommodation? All of you know me here. When did I ever refuse, except one time? And why? Because I believe this drug business is gonna destroy us in the years to come. I mean, it's not like gambling or liquor, even women, which is something that most people want nowadays and it's forbidden to them – by the pezzonovantes in the church. Even the police departments have helped us in the past with gambling and other things. They're gonna refuse to help us when it comes to narcotics. And I believed that then, and I believe that now."

Don't give me your f***ing Manson lamps.
Re: Long Island bust gambino/ bonnano
Looks like mostly Gambino people. Textbook mob "blue collar" bust - gambling, loansharking, drug trafficking.
John “Johnny Boy” Ambrosio - Gambino acting captain
Thomas Anzaone - Gambino associate
Alessandro “Sandro” Damelio - Gambino associate
Joseph Durso - Gambino associate
Anthony Rodolico - Gambino associate
Anthony Saladino - Gambino associate
Frank “Frankie Boy” Salerno - Bonanno soldier
Anyone know who/what crew Ambrosio is acting for?

Re: Long Island bust gambino/ bonnano
John Sciremammano isn't far behind in terms of being indicted I imagine. Bonanno Long Island capo, has operated million-dollar bookmaking rings in the past as well as selling cocaine in Long Island. He was also spotted in numerous meetings with former Bonanno street boss John Palazzolo.

HANG IT UP NICKY. ITS TIME TO GO HOME.
Re: Long Island bust gambino/ bonnano
Bonannos have a crew on L.I. led by Sciremammano, as mentioned before. I'd say it's a pretty sizable crew, but I don't know for sure. He had bookmaking in Island Park especially, a $10 million sports betting operation that used wire rooms in Costa Rica. This was run out of his former club, the Skybox Lounge, where the money changed hands and where there were also Joker Poker machines.JeremyTheJew wrote: ↑Tue Dec 12, 2017 2:35 pm is the colombos still on LI?

Colombos have a few crews on L.I. Their primary operations seem to be in Brooklyn and L.I. John Franzese can be credited with forming a large part of the Colombo's power on the island. Most recent word on that is that his nephew, Michael Catapano, and Michael Uvino, run his old crew. Uvino had high-stakes card games in Hauppage and Lindenhurst and Michael Catapano in North Babylon and Farmingdale. Then there's the Ralph Lombardo wing, which I think does pretty well for a Colombo crew. Lombardo was a very low-key gangster who maintained a huge bookmaking ring in Babylon, Bellmore, etc., as well as Queens and Brooklyn. He was so adept at dodging L.E. that in the late 90s, Little Allie Boy Persico wanted him whacked because he was convinced Lombardo was dropping information on the feds.
Didn't know Gambinos had a crew there till now.
I don't think the Genoveses have much presence there. There are no capos that operate solely or primarily on the island that I know of.
As for the Lukes, I don't know.

"Ambrosio is a long-time Gambino soldier and a fixture of organized crime on Long Island. As described previously, he is currently serving as an acting captain in the Gambino family and operates lucrative gambling and loan sharking operations throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties."

"Michael Catapano, and Michael Uvino" Both of those guys are out now. Not sure who the Capo is though. Uvino was a Capo when he got that ten yr sentence for beating a guy with a BB gun. The entire thing was a set up by the informant.gohnjotti wrote: ↑Tue Dec 12, 2017 3:07 pmBonannos have a crew on L.I. led by Sciremammano, as mentioned before.
