Damion Canalichio Reduced Sentence Hearing
Dame has a reduced sentencing hearing 12/13 at 2PM per Mayo Face’s Twitter. Canalichio gets out early, that’s huge because the guy was always really active in South Philly...
Re: Damion Canalichio Reduced Sentence Hearing
Canalichio was a major player, he was more active over the bridge in Washington township area before he nailed in that drug case. He was was always tight with Mazzone & Nicodemo coming up, I doubt he'd have any problem sliding back into line.

Re: Damion Canalichio Reduced Sentence Hearing
It is a weird coincidence that he is suddenly coming up for a sentence reduction just as GA reports that a mid level mobster is likely cooperating and that there is potential new evidence in the Ralph Mazzuca murder. Hopefully Canalicchio is cooperating

thought same thing but i just dont see it. hes in that click. those young guys who came up together have a bond not really seen elsewhere
Sorry. Wrong Frank
Re: Damion Canalichio Reduced Sentence Hearing
I doubt it, Canalichio only has a few years left, and has no reason to roll over the Mazzuca hit. Especially if it's only someone like Vella pointing the finger at him.

Wasn’t only Vella and Borgesi involved in the Mazzuca hit anyways?

Vella implicated Borgesi in helping to dump the body. Don't know if he implicated anyone else in the murder though. I'm wondering what this this supposed new evidence is? It's got to be something other than Vella.

Re: Damion Canalichio Reduced Sentence Hearing
Makes perfect sense Pogo. The million dollar question is: Is Damion's family being completely supported financially by the gang? If he is cooperating, he could wipe out the entire administration with information he's been privy to.Pogo The Clown wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2017 10:40 am It is a weird coincidence that he is suddenly coming up for a sentence reduction just as GA reports that a mid level mobster is likely cooperating and that there is potential new evidence in the Ralph Mazzuca murder. Much tougher guys than Damion who nobody ever thought would cooperate sang like canaries when the Government had them by the balls.

Nobody thought Gotti's childhood friend Willie Boy Johnson would cooperate. There are many more examples as we all know. I agree with you Cheech, those young Philly Turks have stuck together...but it only takes one. And desperation is a stinky cologne.

-Canalichio has been appealing his sentence for years.
-GA described the potiental informant as a mid-level guy, which Canalichio is not.

Do you have the article that GA reported that a mid level guys was cooperating?Pogo The Clown wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2017 10:40 am It is a weird coincidence that he is suddenly coming up for a sentence reduction just as GA reports that a mid level mobster is likely cooperating and that there is potential new evidence in the Ralph Mazzuca murder. The term mid-level is obviously loose and open for interpretation but a Soldier like Canalichio could qualify as one. Not saying he is the guy in question. Just some food for thought.
They talk about it in this video.

Re: Damion Canalichio Reduced Sentence Hearing
I don't know how you can consider Canalichio a mid-level guy. He was an enforcer and drug dealer for the family and has been sitting in prison for the past 10 years. Assistant U.S. Attorney John Han described him in 2014 as as "an enforcer for the mob...He's the muscle behind all these operations."

Yeah but he is still mid level in the organization. The high levels are the Bosses, the administration and the Capos.
