Okay. Fair enough. I guess the person really asking about it was Frank. I think its quite obvious Ferriola was Boss of the Cicero Crew. There is no one else who could have been Boss of that Crew. He was partnered with made guys under him just like any other Crew Boss.
Now, whether he was the Top Boss for a short while before he got sick is a whole other subject

That's a good educated guess. Also, it does seem like Carlisi was the Top Boss because as you say, Ferriola was sick and Carlisi was Auippa' s boy for many, many years. When I read Captive City, Carlisi was Auippa's driver way back in the 60's.

I think the younger guys seem to be even more delusional and lowlifes than the older guys like DiFronzo or Andriacchi. The older guys dressed much better and were at least smart enough to become wealthy and get out. This will never happen to any younger guys. The Outfit will be finished as a Family in the next 10 to 15 years in my opinion. The only guys left to recruit are low life scumbags who dress poorly. I base this opinion on the way the demographics have changed and the way these guys look in photographs. Most all the Italian Americans who are younger live in the suburbs from what I was reading and are reasonably successful. They don't give a fuck about the Outfit.
