Ask any one of his murder victims families how they feel about Massino fattening his wallet with stories of him murdering their respective family members.
We'd love it. But that doesn't mean there isn't anything wrong with it.

he had 10 properties, he was allowed to keep 5 i believe.Wiseguy wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2017 9:52 pmHe reportedly turned over $9 million, including $7.6 million in cash, gold, and real estate. I seem to remember they let his wife keep their home.TwoPiece wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2017 9:02 pmA lot of the guys who do the book deals and shit like that usually seem hard up for cash. I remember reading that the feds let Massino keep an obscene amount of cash/property so he's probably living very comfortably, and has little reason to put himself out there.
Sorry. Wrong Frank

Didn't Gravano get 750 k for his book? I think Peter Maas slipped him cash under the table.

In all honestly I think a book by scars would be the best read. He seems somewhat authentic and have always heard he was a pretty decent guy from other people's accounts of him... to me massino seemed full of shit even when he was testifying against basciano. I don't see much truth coming from him.

Re: The chins opinion towards Massino
Because of the whole Pistone issue and Bonanno writing a book was reasons for getting kicked off a seat we all know .... But I'm talking about when Massino turned it around in the 1990's and even had the less heat out of the other NY families . The Chin had to give some credit there , wonder how the bosses felt then . He. Is the one who called for meeting in 2000Wiseguy wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2017 11:43 amHence one of the reasons Chin was against letting the Bonannos back on the Commission.Mikeymike12 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2017 2:32 am I'm curious about Chin and what he thought of Massino ? As boss, how he ran the bonanno's and about turning that family around . Obviously the chin was in prison during that 2000 semi Commission meeting but wonder what he told his underlings prior to that meeting and throughout the 90s.
I'm sure he knew that Joe and John Gotti were friends so maybe that also ran thru his mind of not getting to close to him..

I've got no qualms, just don't want to see Massino make 250k off his life story. Massino doing a book would be great for the charts on here , he would know every administration of every family during his whole reign , he would have awesome info about the last so called administration meeting in 2000JeremyTheJew wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2017 3:11 pmfor masino:chubby wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2017 3:04 pm In all honestly I think a book by scars would be the best read. The recent Leonetti book was great and the Philly/Scarfo era had been covered 6 ways to Sunday prior to its release.

Well you're gonna see Massino make 250k or more because the Son of Sam Law was overturned in 1991 by an Appeals Court in New York.SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2017 4:37 pmI've got no qualms, just don't want to see Massino make 250k off his life story. Re: The chins opinion towards Massino
The ruling in the famous Simon and Schuster case was NOT that Son of Sam laws are unconstitutional. It was that THAT Son of Sam law was unconstitutional because compensation for victims came ONLY from the proceeds of written expression. If the law allowed seizure of all assets, including those derived from sale of books, it would very likely be legal. That is how future cases have been decided on other similar laws nationally, usually after the court has issued a general restitution order that can sweep in any assets.
