Bonanno captain Anthony Frascone

Was wondering what you guys know about Frascone, he is scheduled to be released from prison in about 2 weeks? I found a couple articles about him, one was the strip club bust but there doesn't seem to be much else out there on him? Thanks

What happen with that Bonanno meeting a few months ago ? When they had picture of a bunch of made guys meeting up at that restaurant ? Did they ever find out who the snitch was ?

Was there a snitch? They probably just tailed some of the members. It is not like they were being really secrative about it.

I believe 3 or 4 guys violated there parole but the rest walked away. No laws broken.

Minor correction he was actually busted for bookmaking in November 2002. He was also busted again in April 2005. I believe for bookmaking again.

Thanks Pogo, I found a couple articles on those two busts. I didn't know that Massino's testimony helped lock up Frascone up in 2005 and it's interesting that Frascone's Mother was so heavily involved in the $10 million betting ring.

That was part of a scheme that saw Trucchio recruiting women from Russia and other Eastern European countries to illegally enter the U.S. to work as exotic dancers at strip clubs controlled by the Gambino and Bonanno crime families. Several of Trucchio's men also arranged for the women to enter into sham marriages with U.S. citizens. Frascone was sentenced to five years in prison for his role in the scheme, which was, as you said, protection from competing strip clubs & other gangsters, but Frascone also helped solve disputes over the placement of the illegally imported strippers to the four clubs under their wing.
