I wonder who they pick up for Little Anthony's murder...........?
was johnny joe on the street then?
No, John Spirito Sr. was was locked up in the summer of 2003. Little Anthony Seccafico's job was to make sure Spirito's wife was getting the correct payments that she was supposed to while Spirito was inside. She wasn't, according to Spirito's son, whose now a soldier. Spirito Jr. confronted him and Seccafico slapped him around, which is one of the possible reasons why Seccafico was whacked.
Spirito Jr is a soldier now? How old is that kid? Spirito Sr is a prime suspect. I believe Mancuso would have had to authorize it. Spirito and Mancuso are both Bronx guys I believe. Its strange how the Bonanno's have melted Bronx and Brooklyn guys into the same crews. Seccafico is a Brooklyn guy who moved to SI. I would have to believe that he had a few death threats way before he was clipped. Probably the reason he was working for a living at the time he was killed.

He is 35. He was also Acting Capo around the time of the Seccafico murder.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

Could you elaborate on the Bonannos melting Bronx and Brooklyn guys into the same crew, I haven't heard that - are you talking about Ernie Aiello being a member of Nicky Santora's Williamsburg crew?
I don't know dick about dick.

In 2004 the Coppa-Furino Crew and the Cantarella Crew were merged with Basciano's Bronx Crew.

No idea about now. Most of the members of the merged Basciano Crew was imprisoned in 2004-2005. So I would imagine the make has changed since then.

I was under the impression there was a Bronx crew w/Joe Sabella, and two or three Brooklyn crews with a bit of overlap between those. A Williamsburg one with Nicky Santora, another with those Badalamenti guys and the Urso/Anthony Pipitone crew.

Also, what's the deal with Joe DeSimone? Wasn't he always a Queens guy? Your chart says he's a Brooklyn capo.

There were two Bronx based Crews after mid-2002. The DeFilippo Crew and the Basciano Crew. The Basciano Crew also included members from other boroughs. After the merger of 2004 they took on several more members from across NY. Don't know if it is still the case today or if there are still 2 Brnox based crews. I'm sure there are also more than 3 Brooklyn based crews.
