So Camorra, 'Ndrangheta and Cosa Nostra have all a big presence in the capital?
I see them mentioned in the chart but can't figure out their respective degree of influence/presence..

Camorra,Ndrangheta and Mafia they don't fight for every neighborhood, the most active is the ndrangheta who either sells drugs to local gangs or reinvents dirty money in palaces or business, the same thing do in lesser camorra and mafia.

here is a map on drug trafficking division dating back to 2015 but still valid.

Rome has such a long and interesting history. I love how the city is character by itself in the Suburra series, just like L.A. was in Michael Mann's Collateral for example..

Rome until the 1970s had no stable oc groups born in the city; some thugs forms small groups called "batterie", which formed only to make a hit (a robbery, small drug selling etc.) then dissolve.Rarely the "batterie" exceed the limits of the neighborhood. The Magliana Gang born when a small thief Franco Giuseppucci decided to put together all the battierie in all the Rome's hoods and impose the monopoly of the gang on the drug trafficking, gambling, loansharking ecc and the Magliana Gang was the first Rome's oc groups to make frequent use of violence aka kill everyone was against them.
Watch the Romanzo Criminale series.

DPG and Billy for make an example of the Magliana gang power at it peak, when Aldo Moro an important italian politician was kidnapped by the Red Brigades in 1978,his fellow through the secret services ask Raffaele Cutolo to find the exact place where was the Moro's prison.
Cutolo send his lawyer to speak with Giuseppucci the d facto boss of the gang that in a few days found the place.
The lawyer give the information to Cutolo but the politicians have changed idea so Moro died.
Giuseppucci and the lawyer died and Cutolo was buried alive in prison but in 1981 a low level politician Ciro Cirillo was Sava only because knowed every fraud of his party (the same of Moro) in the 1980 earthquake affair.

The character Samurai is, by the way, based on Massimo Carminati: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massimo_Carminati
