The dog was ok surprisingly. Power is still out.
do I have smoking gun proof licavoli made anyone a capo regime no I don't .
Glad to hear you and your dog is doing well all things considered . I haven't even seen my house yet . But from what I am told by my neighbors it would to be only minor damage .

Pogo read that the Sinito crew came from Lonardo. If calandra came from licavoli, did anyone succeed moceri when he became consig?

Sorry for all the questions.
Sinito worked for lonardo and I believe was basically sponsored by him . after Greene was hit licavoli basically let lonardo run the streets , he was underboss and I believe Gallo and sinito were the capos,
Moceri was promoted to underboss and kept the Akron (summit county )rackets He was killed very soon after his promotion . Joey Gallo then tried to get some things going there , he had iacobacci trying to get people in line in summit county for arguments sake he didn't have much success . By the early 80's Gallo was out and heading to prison , around this time early 80's maybe even late 70's , Pasquale ferrucio (Pittsburgh made guy from canton ) started to take some of the people who where paying moceri

As luck would have it I found a picture of Henry, Zebo, sitting on my couch with his 5 month old daughter and my 2 year old daughter dated 1979.
This would be the same time when I first met Pat and he was definitely with Pittsburgh then. Thus he fits your time frame of the late 70s.

Stroccos what do you think of the rumor that Danny Greene dissolved Moceri in acid and poured him down the drain? I've read that online in a few places but have no idea where it comes from originally. Sounds pretty outlandish to me.

Yeah I don't believe it either , It was widely thought Ritson and graewe were the ones who got the contract, i would guess they buried it somewhere .

There was also the rumor he was never killed and was whisked away by the government because he was a high level informent

Do it, Vegas is awesome. I lived there for the past three years before returning to the Midwest, and I will spend the winter there this year if I can get away with it. It's a great town. Plus it has a Mob Museum haha. I actually met Scott Dietche there.
Trust me I want to , if the place was destroyed it likely would of happend . I never been to the museum , maybe I check it out next time I am there . Any good Cleveland stuff in there ?

I forget what Cleveland stuff there is but I do remember they have Frank Cammarata's gun.

So there's a Youngstown artifact at least.

Seriously though the museum was great, the content is pretty much bullshit-free and about on par with the quality of what you read on this forum.

So those two were working for Greene at the time? I thought they came in with Zagaria. I need to brush up on the Ohio stuff.

Sure, but since Licavoli's "crew" (interests) fell to Calandra who inherited Ronnie Carabbia, wouldn't he have also inherited guys like Orlando Carabbia and Anthony Cisternino?

Did the Lonardo crew (which went to Sinito and then Papalardo) came from Brancato?

He was given his button prior to his trial for the Danny green murder. His wife received gambling payments every single month from Joseph Perfette through Orlie Carabbia while he was locked up. According to Special Agent Bob Hawk of the Cleveland FBI office, Lonardo felt he deserved to be made and also the top guys in Cleveland wanted to ensure that he kept his mouth shut which is why they paid his wife monthly and footed the bill for his legal defense.

Prior to that, he was a high-ranking associate and a very close ally to Tony the Dope who trusted Ronnie enough to let him run his section of Mahoning County without interference.

Ronnie would've been made sooner but Angelo Lonardo couldn't get past the fact that his brother Charlie was a loudmouth and could not be controlled, even by Ronnie.
Thanks for posting , they stopped paying out the skim money and used it for legal expensives

Is orlie still alive ?
Orlie is still alive and He lives in Struthers and is 90
Orlie still owns quite a bit of commercial real estate along Youngstown Poland Rd.

Samuel trovato worked at the court house and tried to tamper with or influence the jury during the first Danny Greene trial
Trovato? Interesting. When my uncle was killed in Sewickley Heights, PA in 1924 at the property of Mike Rosato (Sewickley Black Hand Boss), Gennaro "Jerry" Trovato found him in the guest house. I've been in contact with the Trovato family in Sewickley...I wonder if Sam is related?
