Is this bunch related to Anthony Scotto?Pogo The Clown wrote: ↑Thu Jun 08, 2017 7:42 amScotto, a nephew of Gambino soldier William (Big Billy) Scotto
So the fresh street talk about Billy Scotto being a Capo was wrong. I'm shocked.

I didn't say they would.NYNighthawk wrote: ↑Thu Jun 08, 2017 8:59 amI don't think a Westchester County jury would give Crea, Sr. the death sentence.
I said the Feds might use the THREAT of the death penalty for his kid to roll him.
If the threat of life without parole for his kid isn't enough.

In the words of the late Vincent "The Chin" Gigante when learning from Gotti Sr at a Commission meeting that he had his son made- "You brought your son into this life - I'm sorry to hear that".
I don't think Crea, Sr. cares about his son getting life or not. Would he pull a Joe Massino after being convicted? I do think so. Face it - you're 69 years old- done little or no time your entire mob career (Crea Sr). You made your money - stayed under the radar and now have to think about waking up in a cell 1,000 miles from home in Utah. You have to negotiate with Aryan Brothers to watch out for you because of your age against the gangbanger punks from Compton who will be near your cell and yard space.
Casso would have had Crea - perhaps both Sr and Jr - whacked if he had more time out on the streets before he was pinched. Put it all together and it only makes sense to flip now rather than later. I'm sure he will be allowed to keep some money and go into WITSEC and live out his next to 10/15 years in relative peace. It's your move Steve!

People swore until they were blue in the face Massino would never roll.
Crea has a choice to make not just for him, but for his kid as well.
And that adds another dimension.

How great would it be if the Crea's were to flip. The wealth of info we would get would be immense.

They could set up a car wash in Arizona
But Seriously nothing comparable since Massino.
Imagine the info on the Westside. 116th street crew etc.
Fingers crossed.

Good article about Crea Nighthawk. I definitely can see now how Crea could possibly flip, he's never served a substantial amount of prison time. Its gonna be interesting to see what happens.

Re: Gangland news 8th June 2017
I don't buy this whole "hasn't served a substantial prison time" rational for him possibly flipping. No one has served substantial prison time until they do. He stepped up to acting boss/underboss when he was about 64. He would of known the next bust could of been an effective life sentence. I'm not going to comment on the son's murder charges until we see how strong the case is. The Feds have had a losing record lately when it comes to getting guilty verdicts for murder.
The way you talk, you just confuse him.
Re: Gangland news 8th June 2017
very well said Teddy, 100% agree, let's see how much they have on his son, could be hearsay, then let's see who and what history the rat has as baggage, that could and does make for plea deals..no one is flipping as a crea yet. always looks worse in the beginning the G only shows you what they want..as they turn over material most of the time the case gets weaker..your also correct ,it has been about 15 years now the G does not have that 98% rate anymore.. if you count a bunch of plea outs with minimal time maybe but i count that as wins for the defendents.

Bronx/Teddy Persico: with all due respect to your joint opinions - you are both sitting comfortably behind your computers sipping your morning coffee and playing a tough guy role as far as Crea. I bet you both are not anyway near his age- 69! At 69 your body has aches and pains that you did not have in your 40's. You require a different regimen so you can do the most important thing in life- get up out of bed in the morning! When you're in the can - you don't see a Doctor. You see a Nurse or Physician Asst. who gives you 2 aspirins and tells you to just sleep. Meanwhile you're pissing blood in your urine or needing new eyeglasses which you are told to do without. A 20 year old or a 30 year old can manage those discomforts for a few years but when you are hitting 70 years old you have to ask why. Why am I defending this "thing of ours" which is all smoke and mirrors these days. Your lawyers who will want a half million dollar fee will go home to their families after the trial is over- win or lose. And after 5 years in the can - will your family really be taken care of? I see a nice at out and phuck my past reputation with these guys- I always stayed under the radar anyhow!
