Thanx BX. Yes he was in the same crew that Sammy bull was. Before that he was with Petey pums Ferrara and before that with Armand Rava. The same crew Neil Dellacroce was in.

They even had dinner @ La Polina on Ave. O in Bensonhurst which is a favorite of many wiseguys. Here is the you tube link, around 14minute mark https://youtu.be/-L9402KdXrkOlBlueEyesClub wrote: ↑Thu Jun 09, 2016 12:03 pmTommyGambino wrote:George Remini the mobster is not her father.OlBlueEyesClub wrote:Doobeez wrote:I may be getting my quotes/books mixed up, but i could've swore I read that.
Could've possibly been because he made his money in the garment district and not in the street , no ? Gotti respected Tommy Gambino at the very least. He respected him because he was an earner, in a conversation with Leah Rimini's father, he supposedly told him he was going to beef up Gambino's crew but wouldn't give him any shooters or violent types, or "hotheads" as Gotti called him, despite Gambino once being considered as part of the Castellano sect. If Gotti did make that comment, I'd bet in was in relation to Tommy's control of trucking businesses and other things in the garments industry, which was previously known mainly for its association with the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
Thought it was, guess I heard wrong information, guess its a different George Remini who sold cocaine and served prison time.
Edit: Actually Tommy, I think they are the same person, and Big Georgie Remini is indeed her father. I mispelled her last name, its spelled "Remini" and they both married an Austrian for a wife. If Big Georgie had something to do with or owned an asbestos removal company, they're the same guy. And I remember seeing a good morning america show or something like that and she was on it and they were hyping her "mobster past".
Uhh, me and Tommy acknowledged this months ago in this thread, I acknowledged my mistake. So you're definitely beating a dead horse.
Gonna leave that there to show I DO acknowledge my mistakes...
EDIT: My bad Donnie, I read that completely wrong and now realize you were agreeing with my initial point and thought. I'm still not sure what to think, as I read Bronx' post as well of him stating Big Georgie isnt her father, then saying "not certain her father" unless that part was a typo. I think its too many comparisons for them to not be the same guy. Like I said before, they both did time and married Austrians and had daughters. Its weird. Not to mention her fathers dealings in the construction rackets with the asbestos removal company, as well as the link to Bensonhurst, and Leah's own mention of her mobster past, which I personally dont believe was simply a reference to an ex-boyfriend.

Re: Frank DeCicco
I just grabbed 'Shadow of my Father' from the bookshelf because there's pic in there with Gotti and some other wiseguy inmates in Lewisburg 1970. One of them is George Remini and I'm 99% positive that the guy in the Youtube clip of 'It's all Relative', that DonnieB. posted, is in that picture. The only thing Junior got wrong is the order/chronology because he said George is the third guy and I think he's the first guy in the pic from the left. Like I said before, I'm 99% certain that the guy in the video is in that picture.
Found the pic on the internet. In my opinion the first guy has to be George Remini.

Re: Frank DeCicco
Is the guy referred to before as John Gambino who Castellano sent to Palermo in the late 70's./ early 80's also known as "Frank" or "Cheech"?
Re: Frank DeCicco
john gambino did not have an aka , close friends , gian nootz sounds like that
Re: Frank DeCicco
reason I ask is that there was a guy who went over to Borgo Nuovo around the same time who used the same name "Gambino" (not sure if he was actually a Gambino by blood or another loosely related relative) but the guy I'm thinking of was very Americanized, spoke perfect English, and was also called "Cheech".
Was just wondering if they were the same fella.
Maybe Felice could clear it up for me about the guy I'm thinking of.
