Re: Gangland news 1st June 2017
There is no fuckin way i believe that Amuso is still boss unless its just in name only. No way he is calling the shots or guys are kicking up to him or his family. These guys are greedy,in it for money and the younger guys dont respect the older guys or the old school rules, they aint gonna kick up to a boss thats been rotting in prison since the 90's and is going to be in until he's dead.

Re: Gangland news 1st June 2017
No offence but how could you possibly know this?
The only people who could know Ralph was fronting for his brother would be Ralph, his brother and Matty. And we'll throw in Crea and DiNapoli too.
And I'm pretty sure you're neither of the above.
And I sincerely mean no offence. It just doesn't make sense to me.

Re: Gangland news 1st June 2017
Going by your thinking, there's no way Carmine Persico (who's been in prison even longer) is the boss. Now, I know this is where people will respond Persico is able to still be boss because his immediate and extended family are still on the street. And that's true. But it's always been purely an assumption on the part of those who don't believe Amuso is the boss that he doesn't have his own loyalists. We've had confirmation that Peter Got to is boss in name only but we've never seen the same with Amuso, who apparently does still have clout within the family.Teflon john wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2017 12:47 pm There is no fuckin way i believe that Amuso is still boss unless its just in name only. I'm one of these. I just don't see it. If he is boss, it's in name only, I can't not see Crea, Matty, and those on the street kicking up to Amuso, but that is just me.......SoliaiWiseguy wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2017 3:17 pmGoing by your thinking, there's no way Carmine Persico (who's been in prison even longer) is the boss. To back Rocco I have always heard that even mike p is hardly ever mentioned that he has always had more clout and pull than Ralph...
Re: Gangland news 1st June 2017
One thing I've learned over 10 years on these forums is that trying to read the tea leaves from where we're sitting (at our computers) often doesn't lead in the right direction. Especially when, as in the case of Amuso, we do have some info that he's not just a figurehead boss like Peter Gotti. The same info that's come out suggests he doesn't necessarily have the power he would if he weren't doing life but he's not without influence and still has money coming his way.Soliai wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2017 3:35 pmI'm one of these. I agree with you 100%. It's just me, I'm not trying to persuade anyone to believe me, or come to my way of thinking. It's just how see it. Gangsters nowadays are gready by nature more then ever, and don't give a damn about the next guy, that's why these guys don't give a damn about rats nowadays, what's done is done and I'm not going to risk going to jail cause this rat ratted on my boss or my capo. By that same token, I believe guys on the streets nowadays don't give a damn about bosses sitting in prison doing a 100 years. No way crea and everyone under him are going to kick up to Amuso who's never ever coming home. These guys are to greedy to kick up to someone they never have to see or worry about ever again. That's is why I'm saying Amuso is boss in name only.......SoliaiWiseguy wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2017 10:15 pmOne thing I've learned over 10 years on these forums is that trying to read the tea leaves from where we're sitting (at our computers) often doesn't lead in the right direction. I assume you're responding to my question to Rocco.
I'm simply asking for a reason to believe him.
Can you tell me why he's spot on, rather than just blind faith?

Because he's BobbyPazzo, he knows. Lol, just messin' with the both of ya's.
But I back Wiseguy on this, I think Vic Amuso is still boss. I dont know if he has the influence he'd have if he was on the street, but I do believe he still has guys whom are loyal to him. And I've always thought this going back to my Scarfo Jr discussions on GBB and hearing that Scarfo Jr had the backing of many Lucchese guys and specific groups within the family whom were following Amuso's calls from the inside and were willing to assist Scarfo in his planning.

Re: Gangland news 1st June 2017
Believe what you want. Ralph Sr was not made until Matty got out of prison and bumped up. Matty and Mike P are very close. Mike P also was close to many Brooklyn made guys as well. Ralph was made and bumped to Capo because of his brother. Ralph Sr and his Son Joe we both made around the same time. The younger son Johnny was made in 07 w/ his cousin Big Joe(Mike Ps kid) Prior to getting bumped up to Capo. Scarfo Jr was Capo. And Marty was playing him to NY in an attempt to get bumped to Capo instead of Ralph. Marty and his Brother were running the show in 93 and Ralph Sr was just a bookmaker in his brothers crew. Its a big fuckin Chess game between the T's and the P's. Again you believe what you want. But this is pretty common knowledge if you are from around the way.... If the Brooklyn Faction takes the reigns I don't think RAlph &Mike P will have issues. Mike P did allot of time with Made Brooklyn guys from almost all the families. The upside to doing 20plus yrs . Allot of it in Fairton and Lewisburg.SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2017 1:10 pmNo offence but how could you possibly know this?

Re: Gangland news 1st June 2017
Appreciate your response mate.
You do seem to have a decent understanding/knowledge of the situation.
The Luke's almost seem as a ploy/move to have brothers rotate/front as Skippers. Castelle, Perna etc.
So you could very well be right.
Rocco: BOP lists three Mike Perna's (Age and Release date: 75- 2015, 83-1981, 64- 1995). which one is Ralph's brother please?
I've also tried to find on BOP the release dates of the Perna's but can't do so. Can you kindly, or anyone else assist when they are respectively getting out? (Ralph, Joe, Mike etc)
Again, appreciate the response.

I believe they are all imprisoned in NJ state, not in federal custody.
The way you talk, you just confuse him.

Ralph is eligible for parole in September, but his prison sentence ends in 2021
The way you talk, you just confuse him.
Re: Gangland news 1st June 2017
Mike Perna did state time in the early 90s and was yanked out and put in Federal Custody. First in Lewisburg with Madonna in the 1990s then in the early 2000s he was transferred to Fairton(south Jersey) Federal where he served the rest of his Federal Sentence.SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Mon Jun 05, 2017 2:09 pm Appreciate your response mate.
