Pittsburgh Lawyer Charged with Illegal Gambling

Post by JCB1977 »

I don't know how I missed this one, but I missed it. Louis Caputo, 39, Pittsburgh attorney charged in illegal gambling scheme involving video gambling devices.

Antillar and Chris Christie: I wonder if this guy is a descendant of Dominic Caputo, earlier Black Hand boss in the Pittsburgh area? He also could be related to Donald "Moose" Caputo, former casino owner and gambling kingpin from Youngstown.

Thanks buddy. I don't know how I missed it as I read the PPG everyday and still have extensive family ties in the Pittsburgh/Youngstown area. Anyhow, the lawyer's last name struck a cord. Some of the earliest Black Hand bosses were named Caputo and Donald "Moose" Caputo had casinos along WV and PA. I need to do some ancestry work to tie this guy into one of the infamous Caputo clan.
