Scott, what do you think was the story behind those suicides? You think something else was going on?sdeitche wrote:Raffa and Vincent LoScalzo attended Pietro Ligamarris wedding.toto wrote:Raffa and Ligammari were paesani. Raffa had a friendship with Francesco Polizzi.
Always interesting that the Ligamarris and Raffa hung themselves.

One of Raffa s Associates told me he had advanced stage cancer and that's why he ended it rather than going to prison. LEO source suspected Mamone was the one who set it up.baldo wrote:Scott, what do you think was the story behind those suicides? On the Ligamarris not sure, but certainly suspicous. A double suicide with family members is not at all common.

sdeitche,
What do you know about the murder of Giuseppe Tramontana a friend of Buscetta present in his wedding to Vera Girotti and also the murder of Giuseppe Romano? In the internet we can read Steve Raffa and Vincenzo Lo Scalzo were involved in both these murders. Is it true?

Raffa and John Galatolo were suspected of involvement in the murder. I spoke to an FBI agent on the case about 15 years ago and that was his take.toto wrote:sdeitche,

If we are throwing Mamone into Suicide conspiracy’s then lets add him to George Weingartner and his Son In-law who both committed suicide rather than do time over the John DiGiglio hit. The story there is that Mamone visited Weingartner in jail prior to posting bond and told him he could off himself or get killed. Is the story bullshit? Probably who knows? But it’s been floating out there since George was found in his garage with the engine running etc...

Re: Tampa/Trafficante Family Lineage
John Galatolo is a lucky man so far. His son-in-law Angelo Fontana who was also living in Florida in the 80s flipped 10 years ago. Did you have any further information on his activities there? He was serving a life sentence in Italy for murder when he flipped.sdeitche wrote:Raffa and John Galatolo were suspected of involvement in the murder. Also, John Galatolo's cousins children flipped. His cousin is Vincenzo Galatolo "Enzo Alati" ex-boss Acquasanta and his son and daughter both flipped.
Another of Galatolo's friend is Saro Naimo who was boss of all the sicilian mafiosi in America and he also flipped.
Incredible he didn't get a life sentence in America for those two homicides.

I don't. John Galatolo wrote me about 15 years ago from prison. I may still have his letters somewhere. If I can dig them up, I'll post them.toto wrote:John Galatolo is a lucky man so far.
