Furio, Robert "Bobby" Panaro Jr, lives in Las Vegas, and is semi-retired. He is not the underboss, but he might be the family's consigliere as he has sat down with members during disputes, or he is just a highly respected member.
Victor Sansanses has pretty much run things for nearly two years, so he might be boss. Buffalo is not that active, or they have staying under the radar. Utica and Ontario crews are the most active, as both have made members a decade ago, with Utica making Cardinale and Feliciano in this decade, Ontario bringing in a few Cotroni guys, while Buffalo has just recently made a couple of guys. Erie, Rome, and Endicott are dead, while Syracuse has a couple of old soldiers left and a handful of associates in that area.
A third of that family is retired or semi-retired. My count is 26 or 27 members left. Could be more.
Posters like him are the bane of the forums. Always combining some known facts with their personal fantasies in order to develop some bullshit narrative. How the hell would he even know if Buffalo had recently made a couple guys? What an ass.[/quote]

Spot on. You've got idiots over there defending him. What would posses someone to make things up to come across 'In the know' must have no life.

And now they've got this new guy "Rooster" straight out of the woodwork who's there insisting that he knows the current state of the Buffalo family because....wait for it....he lives in Buffalo.

it's nothing more than fresh street talk that some tend to weave into their own warped reality. rumors of underworld figures involved in various activities equals the mob operating as a cohesive organization in some people's minds and there's just no changing that!

we're looking at probably around a dozen made guys, maybe a few more but the lack of cases pretty much proves most are probably largely inactive. i think its also important to keep in mind that buffalo isn't exactly a modern day boom town, much like other rust belt cities it's pretty dumpy and whitey has been leaving as fast as his noble feet can carry him!

-With a crime rate of 63 per one thousand residents, Buffalo has one of the highest crime rates in America compared to all communities of all sizes - from the smallest towns to the very largest cities. One's chance of becoming a victim of either violent or property crime here is one in 16. Within New York, more than 99% of the communities have a lower crime rate than Buffalo. In fact, after researching dangerous places to live, NeighborhoodScout found Buffalo to be one of the top 100 most dangerous cities in the U.S.A.

I am still trying to ascertain who the politicians were that were indicted for the LIUNA 210 case in 1996. However the main targets were Joe Todaro Sr., Joe Todaro Jr., Leonard Falzone, and Frank Bifulco.

In my personal opinion, this case along with the murder of John Papalia, and the incarceration of Vincent Sicurella were the catalysts that basically destroyed the family. Also when Frank Bifulco got shot trying to extort a crack dealer in 2001 that was the final omen that the family was done.
