From what I understand I guess he was a cash cow and was after flipping

Cash Cow for WHO after flipping? He certainly wasn't affiliated with any Colombos or Bonannos after he flipped. He's running a club in the Fountain Bleu Hotel

Don't know how exactly to frame it up but talk about Chris Paciello. Were they close or just knew each other in passing? Were NY guys aware of the empire he was building in Miami?

Ha yep. I'm not an expert on the story but I wonder if ny guys tried to extort him in Miami since he was semi known as a thief previously in ny.

While I realize that wiseguys from NY are down in FL, I have a hard time believing that in 2016, they have a tight grip of control. They're barely whacking anybody anynore. Federal witnesses and turncoats are staying in the same area where they operated without repercussion. America is not Montreal.

Two questions, 1. Does he still keep in touch with Chris Paciello and if he heard anything about the situation with Chirs and Merlino at the heat game? 2. What was the lastest he has heard on Tommy Reynolds?......Soliai
Another thing I'd like to hear him talk about is what could have been. Roughly, the plan was for Gulino to get made first and pave the way for the rest. If Gulino didn't push Spero and drugs wouldn't have gotten out of hand, how far could it have gone?

100% they extorted him. Graziano did the same thing to him when he was younger in SI. When you have to kick up to make a buck its pretty much extortion in the eyes of the law. But that is what the life is. When you look at these gambling rings that get busted ...there is almost always at least one to 5 people in there working off their debts. They are not gangsters but merely working off their gambling debts. Allot of the NJ Westside books operating have hopeless gamblers that work off their debts in these gambing rings. They loose their business when they cant pay and the mob uses your business to loot , steal and launder their money. All the while the hopeless gambler is working the sport book for you...why? Cause he can still gamble while working off his debts. Gambling addict will never stop gambling if you can still provide them the means to do it. W It also insulates the gangsters at the top running them. That's a big part of being successful in that life is being able to see the $$ in controlling and using people.
Very true Rocco. The art is knowing how much to push and guy and when to lay off. Push too hard and they might run to the Feds.. have to be very personable and likable yet still being able to squeeze a guy enough to get what you want. Got to have finesse and I feel like some of these guys go too hard. Good example the west side guys from Springfield trying to squeeze that tow truck driver . Came on way to strong and honestly I think they could have got him to pay considering he was paying for years before and then stopped when Bruno got hit I think
