Respectfully, you guys have no idea about the state of the modern news media and how that plays into the lack of traditional oc/mob reporting. And you wouldn’t because you aren’t in the industry so that’s understandable. Just know everything isn’t in a vacuum. Things that were always reported by mainstream media are no longer getting reported , it’s not that they aren’t happening, as seems to be the consensus on here . It’s lot deeper than that . Talk to any old school reporter in any city and they ll tell you this . God bless Jerry . He’s the GOAT no doubt . Even a GOATs time has to come to an end. Unfortunately.

Well said Scott. The mainstream media is much different than what it was 30-50 years ago. It definitely benefits the mob that they aren’t as covered by the media as they used to be.

Ultimately Scott I wish you nothing but success but you are still trying to build your credibility which Jerry has largely established also with his own scepticism from some. Larger news such as the Grimaldi funeral episode usually does spread fast with credible sources so I think it’s fair to understand people questioning a two minute video from borello that sparked this and people like Cicale from the Bronx have been told it’s false so it is fair for this to be questioned I think as it does sound far fetched. To play devils advocate on the modern day mob media, with the growth of social media, internet etc we also see content creators consistently looking for the big fancy headline and the clickbait news to increase their profile as you well know, we do not see much of that with Jerry which is largely why people wait for his input to trust if something is real. Nonetheless I don’t like the rude comments you get on a forum where we should all be interested in the same thing and I wish you nothing but success in building your credibility as everything you report on is topics I am interested in.

When are you going to contact Martin Scorsese so we can finally get the long awaited movie about the Philly mob based on Leonetti’s book?

We need a Trilogy or a TV Show on Philly from Bruno's murder until Merlino and Natale are jailed.

British actor Stephen Graham as Nicky Scarfo. No joke. He's the right age and even the right height and can play American mobsters well. Observe:

I've been a fan of Graham since the original This Is England, he's amazing. I'm not sure about him playing Scarfo though not that i have anyone better in mind i just can't see it physically.

Physically, the dude who played Rusty on The Sopranos would've been great as Scarfo. Not in performance though and he'd be way too old now he looked fairly similar though.

Fair enough lol. In my defence i'm in my early 30s and from Scotland, i'm not being exposed to Frankie Valli. I've heard of him and i know my dad likes him though.

Dude is 91 so he's only playing Scarfo in his last years, from Jersey though so probably could have in his prime.

Physically, really? He's exactly the right height and age!

Like he's 5'5" inches and right now nearly the exact same age Scarfo was when he became boss.

I do think he's a bit physically more imposing than Scarfo, who was pretty scrawny. Is that what you mean?

He's not as slight as Nicky, he could lose weight but would still look too big and facially is nothing like him.

They don't necessarily need to look alike it's just that Scarfo is someone i'm very familiar with so it's different to say Joe Pesci as Tommy DeSimone. I'm sure he'd give a great performance either way it would just be a bit weird to me.

You can call Capeci a legend. If thats the case, he is now the Michael Jordan when he came back to play for the Bullets aka the Wizards from '01'03.'
