Well convict inc is back from his recent relapse !!

Did a video and said some interesting things....

First he said SIXTY PERCENT of mafioso are on dope - very surprised yet not surprised with the NEWER generation of guys - any opinions on that???
There's a few posts in the past where we name a few known coke heads but heroin I feel is in a different level bc it makes your PHYSICALLY ADDICTED where you HAVE to use it - unlike coke/crack.
But for him to say 60% mob guys are on dope - that's just crazy for me to think is even close or half way accurate

Lastly - can i get quick breakdown of who hippie is???

I call bull shit on this. I know of a bunch of guys throughout the years and none of them did any dope. He is full of shit. Cicale and Pennisi also have a lot of aminosity and are very thin skinned, particularly Pennisi who gets insulted at the drop of a hat.

Pills like oxy, etc. are no different than heroin and the mob is all over that - but in prison, all you can get is heroin. Zanfardino dealt drugs long before and well into his time in the Genovese - look at Darin Mazzarella's testimony - Hippy as a made guy was running crack and pot rings in the 90s. These guys don't 'graduate' from selling drugs to running gambling rackets - they continue selling drugs. The myth that guys who sell don't use is as laughable as the mob not dealing drugs.

Nobody said the mob doesn't deal drugs. But all you have to do is look at the cases to see they are nearly involved in heroin as they are certain other drugs. And I'll say it again, the idea that over half of mob members are heroin users is just nonsense. And even if you want to expand that to oxy and other similar drugs, the idea over half of them are on that stuff is also absurd.

What are peoples thoughts on Robert Rosso? Guy kind of annoys me the way he talks idk. But he has some good info from his experience inside with guys I guess. He clearly isn't all there though, who knows he could have always been that or all that time fucked him up.

I enjoyed his stories as he talked about mob guys you rarely hear about from all over the country and it was interesting stuff. He was on dope for decades and you can tell - he jumps around and has that look of a guy who could relapse at any moment.

I'm kind of surprised he did this entire Zanfardino on heroin thing - but I think he's trying to prove people like Wiseguy wrong. These mob guys are not any better than other criminals or normal humans - when drugs are everywhere and you have decades to serve, its too easy to go in and out. I bet a lot of these guys as Rosso says go through various periods of sobriety and use during their time - its a cycle no different than on the street except you can't really distract yourself from an addiction within a cell.

Untrue, if you have money you can get almost anything you want in most prisons and if you’re strung out on dope in prison the Italians and their group are going to see you as a weak link, you’re going to be shunned.
