There are other names that have been posted on this forum and linked to court docs if you search it - Montagna, Depollo, DeGrado, etc. - I highly doubt they call themselves 'Sarno Boys' as that sounds like a boyband on Tiktok and I'm convinced half these guys are in their 60s/70s knowing the Outfit. It's been incredible most of these real names can't really be dug into more. Guys were identified on Sarno wiretaps - its like they don't exist.

I don't think he gives two fucks to be completely honest.
I am not saying he has to reveal names. In the interest of transparency reveal more then just calling it somebody's last name. And im supposed to believe it's in the "dozens." Gtfo

I'm not saying Scott should reveal a list or anything. But if there's truly 24-36 "Sarno guys" made in the 2000s, wouldn't we be able to identify some of them from indictments/sources? This board is great at that.
Some of them have been identified like Gigi, Rainone, Paulie C and a couple of others. I truly don’t think more than 12 were made and they were not all during Sarno’s reign. That is just my personal opinion. I do believe Sarno made some guys but not 30. That’s an unheard of number.
Gigi identified himself. Paul C and Rainone definitely.
So are they "Sarnos boys" or Sarnos "boys?" And gigi, rainone, Paulie were already mentioned in those circles before. And wouldn't they have to be younger then Sarno? Guys in the outfit older then Sarno or around the same age would fit the "Sarnos boys" category...yes, no?

I don't understand the context of "Sarno boys" the guy has been in prison for what, almost 15 years? And if they are "boys" im assuming they have to younger then him. So, say a "sarno boy" is 40 years old. Minus the 13 or so years he's been locked up.. Sooo.... he had a crew of kids in their twentys and late teens around him when he is on the street?
This whole thing is just idk...
The "Sarno Boys" is a group of "2 to 3 dozen" guys that he allegedly made that haven't been identified. You just have to trust Scott on this one.
24+ made men under Sarno? That's what we are supposed to believe? I do not believe that. Not for a second until I see some evidence to the contrary.

He’s referring to guys that came up in Cicero, mostly 12th street player alumni. They are not necessarily Sarno’s age bc Scott is indicating that Sarno had influence over them and that these guys looked up to Sarno as a godfather type

Sarno didn't have much of a good reputation with the other crews. They thought he was a fat slob which he was.

Opinions on Sarno's Dressing Style

Reports indicate that some higher-ups in the Chicago Outfit criticized Mike Sarno for his fashion choices. Specifically, they felt that he did not meet the sartorial standards expected of someone in his position within the organization. This perception may have affected how he was viewed by other members, potentially impacting his standing within the Outfit.

Conclusion

The criticism regarding Mike Sarno's dressing style reflects broader themes within organized crime about image and presentation. While it may seem superficial, such opinions can influence relationships and dynamics within these organizations.

Overall, it is indeed true that bosses in the Chicago Outfit thought Mike Sarno was a bad dresser.

I would note that anyone who is really looking at Mike Sarno's indictment would see that Sarno's crew actually robbed Louis Rainone's Roosevelt Currency Exchange several times during the criminal activity Sarno was later indicted on (Mark Polchan and Mark Hay would climb through the floor right next door and loot the safe).

The idea that he would 'make' a guy who he is robbing seems silly- I'll also add Rainone's store has been robbed numerous times - I realize Cicero is a rough area, but his store is a dime a dozen along Roosevelt avenue and some of these seem more organized thefts:

That is your opinion... it's not based on anything you can prove you heard. Your obsession with mens clothing, specifically men in Chicago is odd. Something i never seen on here before. Other users tell you to drop it and you agree. But then you find an angle to go right back into it.
