Re: Gene Gotti and Nicky corrozo
But you are already involved. You sub to GR. So you have the articles. You are in more than one of the threads asking if hes dead. Then you went and asked an ex luchese informant on youtube. These non descript capos and soldiers die all the time without anyone noticing. But you dont wanna get involved. Youre the resident scott guy.Ivan wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2025 8:44 pm You guys are out of your minds if you seriously think I'm going to get involved in short bus internet drama shit.
I just thought it was nuts that a capo could die and go unnoticed completely by everyone except for one guy on this forum for a year so I looked into it a bit. I can't find anything, but that doesn't mean he isn't dead.
Something like this has happened before, everyone on here thought Peter Castellana was still alive until I looked into it and found that he had been dead for like a year. He wasn't a capo though. A capo croaking with almost no one noticing or updating the Lucchese chart for a year is pretty wild!
What does the new article say? From what I can tell it says Langano is the new Consigliere.

Re: Gene Gotti and Nicky corrozo
Oh come on I don't know him that well.

Papagni, with the explainer "Earlier this week, GR inaccurately reported that Frank (Skinny Frankie) Salerno was in-line for the post due to confusion between the two men.", and that it's unknown who will replace Papagni as underboss. What does the new article say? From what I can tell it says Langano is the new Consigliere.
Nothing about anyone dying sadly, which is what I'm interested in.
Soldiers I agree on, like I mentioned everyone thought Castellana was still alive until I dug up his in memoriam thingy. I tried to pull off the same feat for Salerno using those same mad google skillz so I could get a big ol' dopamine hit for finding proof of his death for everyone but came up empty-handed. I would think that a capo dying though would have been noticed by someone other than one guy on here, but maybe I'm way off base about that.

How convenient.
Re: Gene Gotti and Nicky corrozo

Frank Salerno was a known resident of Crestwood, NY. If the Frank Salerno listed in this Mar. 12, 2023 newsletter for this Catholic Church parish in Crestwood is the same individual under discussion here, he might have died around Feb. 2023, give or take a month (but no later than the newsletter date).

Good find. The other people listed here died around February 2023, so it’s pretty clear it’s the recently deceased, as of March 2023. I don’t see any obituary or anything for *another* Frank Salerno dying around that time either.antimafia wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2025 10:19 am

One confounding factor is that Frank Salerno is a really common name. But this lines up with the "over a year ago" in the original claim. Still seems weird that a capo's death would go unnoticed by everyone though.

Sorry Scott but your excuse of mixing up the Frank's is not passing my bullshit detector.
Re: Gene Gotti and Nicky corrozo
A guy that was dead was being groomed for the admin lol. Doesn’t look confused to me. Describes Frank pretty well. Too bad he was pushing up daisies.
You guys getting it now? Wheres all the apologist. He wrote a made up story then an anon on a message board called him on it. Took the article down. Wrote a new one and said he messed up Franks. Amazing. What a day for a the good guys. Every so often we get one. Soak it up fellas
My personal favorite is that he was notified of this in late 2024. They went to his grave and did a few novenas
He even doubles down and says. 2 sources gave the info. Lmaooooo

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

Re: Gene Gotti and Nicky corrozo
Not a good look for Scott on this one, just like the Todaro in Chicago when they really met at trade show in Vegas picture. I have no problem with people calling him out when he has clearly made a mistake. I do have an issue with some of the acrimony that has been lobbed his direction and when he has been wrongly accused of mistakes or being sensational. Honestly, I don’t pay that close of attention to a lot of his stuff except when it comes to Buffalo cause that is my area of interest. However, I will politely let him know if I believe he has made a mistake or mixed something up regarding Buffalo. Let’s face it, it is easy to do. For example I made a mistake about Johnny Cats DOD a while back. That being said my personal opinion is that some people are at times quick to dismiss and/or try to get people to quit contributing to these forums. For example I didn’t particularly like the way Manning was treated when he was on here. I definitely didn’t agree with everything he wrote but was glad for his posts and contributions and can’t help but wonder if he quit contributing because of some of the acrimonious/disrespectful comments lobbed his direction. (I will gladly admit I don’t know why he quit contributing.) Ron Fino is someone else I’ve wondered about. I could be remembering incorrectly because I wasn’t on Real Deal that often and was late to the show on that forum, but it seems there was some disrespect aimed at Ron Fino about being sensational to hawk his book in some of the posts I read. I think people were, also, upset about him not “dispelling” or “disparaging” the people suggesting a larger number of Buffalo members. I don’t agree with everything Fino has said or written but I’ve learned a good bit in my interactions with him and I’d hate it if he had stopped contributing on these forums because of the discourse he experienced.
