I pre-ordered a Kindle version of his book (his second; one written while incarcerated). It was to be electronically delivered today but Amazon sent me an email it is no longer offered for pre-purchase or purchase on Amazon.

Love to see a local podcast like Bounce Back get posted here. There are some great interviews on there though I believe this is the only way related to OC. Most are just MA prison stories. B Luke (the host) is a good guy.

This was interesting, just listened. He actually seems like a nice guy. That wild man that he was painted as back then in the 90's is long gone. Very little OC talk other than he knew Gerry Angiulo in prison. More talk about his issues with the government, life in prison (28 years) etc. He's working on a book called Patriarca Purge amongst other projects. Currently in a half way house and working for a plumber, enjoying his grand kids etc.

He’ll need to self-publish; refer to my prior post. Would love to hear about Angiulo.

His book is on amazon and can be read on the kindle app. It's free if you have kindle unlimited. I started it today. The first chapter is just some surface level info on the history of Boston ie The Puritans fleeing England, and brief info on the Irish gang wars. One of the pictures has the incorrect name. So far not impressed but to be fair it's just chapter 1.

Exactly!! He struck me as someone who was a far away from organized crime as possible. 28 years will probably do that to a guy.

Was Gigi a member of the Ferrara/ Russo faction and didn’t they lose the gang war as the Feds were backing the likes of Mark Rossetti?

Yes, and they didn't really lose the war as much as they went to prison. They certainly never paid Saleme again.

Im halfway through the book and frankly I think it's terrible so far. Gigi has been tooting his own horn like crazy and there is so much time spent on the FBI, Bulger, Connolly, etc. Basically he is saying that the FBI instigated this 90s war, which may be true. I just think the book is not written well and Gigi is the toughest the baddest the smartest guy in every story, and most of the stories are boring and brief in my opinion. Maybe since he didn't rat and is back home he doesn't want to get too deep on stories, crimes, and names. Just my opinion others may like the book better.

Not surprised that it's not that great given it's self published. Also, he probably can't expose anyone.

Gigi claims that Cono Frizzi Sr was an FBI informant who provided info to take him down. I don't think I've heard he was an informant before? He also lists other guys as informants I don't know much about- Bill Ieradi, Mark Eldridge, Gus LaFace. Can anyone provide info on these guys? Finally found some deep cut names and previously unknown information in the poorly written boring book. Hope it continues.
