I was told this by a knowledgeable person and considered posting it, but as it was a serious allegation against guys who AFAIK have never been arrested, and because it wasn't corroborated by anyone else, I held off. But since you said it first, I was told the same thing (i.e., that those three were responsible for Catalano's disappearance).

How did you hear about this?

Same reasons you always hear for his killing: stole from Cicero, got hooked on his own stuff, general pain in the ass.

I want to stress that this is just what I was told by a knowledgeable source and I only brought it up because Aunt+Baby brought it up first, so don't go nuts with this guys. It's not impossible that the rumors about the brothers are bullshit that's just circulating because they're Italian and friends with Solly D, and people saw that and let their imaginations go wild. They've never been arrested for anything at all AFAIK.

I’m no expert in his death but I was told by a person I know in CPD that investigated the disappearance before the Feds took it over that some major money disappeared and that he was involved in narcotics. I heard he was also involved in that Dr Joseph Giachinno who had a pain clinic in Melrose Park. Catalano had a tanning salon on Taylor street that he was washing the money through. His vehicle was found off of East River Road on the NW side completely wiped clean. It was a total professional hit. No idea who actually did the hit but it was definitely Outfit connected.

Where? Lol there's about 700 comments on that post. But as stated there are a few big companies which fit the bill one of which is Panzarella and his company who has been rumored to be with Cicero before.
