I recall that Stefani was slayed to open a restaurant in the reconstructed Thompson Center earlier this year. Any of you guys been there? Not sure if it’s open yet. Crazy that Google bought that place. Fun memories running around wilding out down in the pedway as a kid. I remember getting my first state ID at the Thompson Center, way back before Jesse White became Secretary of State lol (it was George Ryan back then, before he became Governor). Funny that Giannoulias is now in that position, after that whole thing with Broadway Bank and the shenanigans with Tony Rezko and Jaws Giorango.

Incredibly weird thing I ran into in Japan was Americans complaining about how "dirty" Tokyo is. I was like, did these people all grow up in gated suburban communities or something?PolackTony wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2024 12:41 pm Hahaha, I mean, if he thinks Chicago is dirty imagine if he went to NYC or Philly.

Fosco stopped writing bc he agreed too with certain people. He now hangs out with Solly D’s son Vince, that clown that is always on Facebook making stupid posts, if that tells you anything about his character.Coloboy wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2024 11:05 am I’ve brought up Fosco a few times recently, and I’m curious for everyone’s thoughts on a few things.
American news post back in the day was my introduction to the inner workings of the outfit. I have no idea how I stumbled upon that site. You have to sift through the ridiculousness and the bullshit, but the intel in those old threads is priceless to this day.
Fosco had a serious bone to pick with the outfit at that time. However, he pretty abruptly stopped writing about it, and has been silent since, with the exception of some generic outfit “addendums” a few years ago.
I have to wonder if he sort of settled his beef with members of the outfit, and that is why he doesn’t write anymore. I have to think that that is still his social circle in life to this day.
Does anyone have any clue what he is up to?
On that note, any updates on Mike Mags? I had heard rumors he might be active again because it seems like his crusade against the outfit has sort of quieted down.

Funny we also hired a car to drive us to our multi city designations, the guy who drove us to the winery and a few of the cities in the area was talking about the history of the area and eventually started talking about the history of Italy generally and Toto Riina and Falcone came up, i thought this guy is probably going to regret bringing this up with me lol

I still haven't' found the time to do a thorough search like you suggested, but I plan on it. Interesting find about Gigi. Those are the tidbits I'm referring to.Ivan wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2024 12:15 pmI did a few more targeted Boolean operator searches on it just to see what would come up. In addition to the comment about "Lou Rainone" from way back in 2010 I found, I also found someone complaining about Gigi in the same year. Could be a sign of these ATSPN guys starting to emerge as Outfit figures around then being reflected on the Fosco site. Coincides roughly with Carparelli become prominent in early 2010s.Coloboy wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2024 11:05 am American news post back in the day was my introduction to the inner workings of the outfit. We will likely never get another insider look at the outfit better than what was discussed/posted on those forums. Plus...."THE BEATLES OF THE OUTFIT!"
Re: General Chicago Outfit Info Dumping Ground
Half of the "insider" stuff turned out to be rubbish. Other than Fosco, I certainly don't think anyone gave any more "inside" information than we get in this thread, so it wasn't like it was some wellspring of information. I remember one guy posting his list of sleepers than ended up being just guys listed on a CCC chart aside from the "known" made guys. There were definitely some interesting discussions, it's just hard to weed out the bullshit from the truth.Coloboy wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 11:05 amI still haven't' found the time to do a thorough search like you suggested, but I plan on it. This is true for pretty much everything, with a handful of exceptions, outside of this forum. It's like panning for gold, basically.Snakes wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 11:59 am Half of the "insider" stuff turned out to be rubbish. No argument there, @snakes. I even prefaced my comment with "you have to sift through the ridiculousness and the bullshit" . What is most interesting is sitting here today, with a much better base of knowledge, and going back to sort through those threads.

He gave evidence to investigators about Gio throwing their mother down the stairs. I think he was really LaValley's goon who was largely trying too hard. The auto scam indictment however came a year later and involved multiple criminals who I doubt would partner with a 'rat.'Patrickgold wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 8:19 amNick Gio was a psychopath that was used by Patrick to do dirty work nobody else would do. From what I've ready, Harry, who is still around, testified against his brother then was convicted himself in a separate auto insurance scheme about two years later.

Fosco is no longer in Chicago - he moved to Georgia from when I last heard from him. He's also revealed a lot of the folks who were posting back on ANP - some of them used to post here as well. The most famous one was the nephew of Joe Lombardi aka 'The Don' who was outted years ago by on GangstersBB. There was also Nick Spina, the attorney in Melrose Park who flipped on August Taddeo and the inner corrupt workings of that suburb - but then went on to continue working for the DiFronzos, who would dog Fosco on the comments. One cannot forget the late Greg Tosto, nephew of Rocco Infelise.Patrickgold wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2024 2:18 pmFosco stopped writing bc he agreed too with certain people. A great project would be to weed out the dogs shit from those threads. Maybe when Im old and retired. The format was soooo awful tooo half the time you couldn't follow who was responding to whom.
Re: General Chicago Outfit Info Dumping Ground
Remember when all of the comments wouldn't show and you had to keep expanding? The worst! Fosco was certainly one of the more accurate ones on there. It's been so long since I've read it, I can't remember any others. Of course The Don was full of shit. Black Angelo was also for the most part, but the Don made him look like Joe Valachi by comparison. They posted the most, if I remember correctly. I think Rick made a couple posts here and there but wasn't a regular.
Re: General Chicago Outfit Info Dumping Ground
Yea, there was always a competition between those guys to see who was more full of shit. Which one was always referencing "strong made guys"? I always found that term funny.Snakes wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2024 5:35 pmRemember when all of the comments wouldn't show and you had to keep expanding? The worst!
