He already got 57 months and now face 20 y,Ragano is an idiot.

Couple things....how can he be guilty of "witness harassment" and "witness tampering" if he didn't know Martino was a cooperating witness at the time? It's one thing if it was a known witness on a case but that's not what this is.

Also, it talked all about how Ragano forced Martino to take his clothes off but of course didn't mention that was in response to Martino first accusing Ragano of ratting on him. Martino obviously knew it would get Ragano riled up and he got the response that he and of course the government wanted. The government is so good at controlling the narrative.

He wasn't guilty of witness harassment or tampering. He was acquitted on all charges except the extortion.

Can't you be charged with witness tampering even if they aren't one but you believe they are as it's the intention that's there?

Yea the way this went down was so close to entrapment. He went there with the specific task to rile Ragano up and get him to react the way he did. He went there accusing him of being the rat he was to get a violent response. In that world calling someone a rat is a sure fire way to get a reaction and he played right in to the governments hand. Feel like a better lawyer could have made this go away. He was offered a plea too and I bet he wishes he took it now.

Either way it was a dirty play to add more time and the gov won.
