Had about 30 beepers that had business card for towing company they met anyone anytime weed was kind of a big deal legally around hear ba k then but if the got pinched peter would send a lawyer and u would not be responsible for pot cops took. 20 bags at .7 equals $12,965 per pound I would say he was doing 30 a day retail (pounds) very little overhead
30 lbs a day in twenties? not even a full gram? WOW

- When Zuccaro was in jail in 2005, he learned from John Burke and Tony Green Urso that Charles Carneglia was spreading rumors that Zuccaro was a rat. He claims Carneglia had previously done this to others, including Kevin McMahon, and that Carneglia's motivation in this case was from the old $30,000 Zuccaro never completely paid. Zuccaro attempted to clear his name but nobody would help him and it's this accusation that ultimately led to his cooperation.

Just to add to Zuccaro's happening's with the Gambino's during this time frame was info pertaining to the Gus Boulis murder in Florida. The Feds first learned of Big Tony Moscatiello's involvement in 2005, when Zuccaro told authorities that Moscatiello had offered him $100,000 to kill Boulis. Zuccaro turned down the offer, but the hit was carried out by another New Yorker, John Gurino, who as mentioned was killed two years later. Gurino's closeness to the Gotti's was displayed at Gotti Sr's final trial, when he was one of 7 demonstrators arrested for the mini-riot outside the courthouse. Gurino first came into the Gotti orbit when he went on trial for murder in 1984 and his then unknown defense lawyer Bruce Cutler earned him an acquittal, and a spot in Gotti Sr's defense lineup.
Great information, Mr. Belding. I would be interested in seeing Zuccaro's testimony in the Gambino trial, as this one was obviously tailored around Asaro and the Bonannos.

I had never heard of John "JJ" Gurino before Zuccaro mentioned him as a proposed member. I know nothing about the Gurinos except a couple of them have been members of the modern Gambino and they go way back with the Bergin crew. The name came up frequently in the Asaro trial, including a wake for a Rose Gurino which was attended by mafia members.

Even in Ozone Park, where it seems every mafia figure was a violent career criminal, the Bergin crew had a reputation for treachery according to witnesses like Zuccaro and Valenti.
anthony and cesar gurino are brothers who owned arc plumbing where Gotti was supposedly a salesman. they all grew up together.
both made Anthony whp [assed was on the ruiling panel at one point.
there is another anthony not involved that ran or still runs Tahoe development and conwstruction. he is brothers with angelo gurino. real jerk off type in his 50s selling pills. dont know if hes made but hes with the Gambos. his son got busted with him. their is a ton of gurinos younger. all grew up with silver spoons and are too stupid to avoid low level street shit. other than cesars son anthony who went to college and is an actor. legit dude.
jj or john was i think anthony and angelos brother but i could be wrong. full time gangster got killed trying to collect an a debt. had many bodes himself supposedly. the others are all rackateeers but not tough guys themselves.
Didn't Angelo's son get busted too?
yes..i said that up there in my mess of a paragraph
My b...thought you were talking about Anthony's son. Is that the Gurino who got busted with Tuccio?
no angelo son. he has a couple tho. not sure who the one with tuccio father was

Cornerboy- if I didn't live it and was basically a bookkeeper and paid the workers I wouldn't believe it either. Another crazy part is if someone couldn't work there shift ( like I said it was run like a business) and we couldn't find a replacement for that Friday night peter himself would work like four beepers and meet people in McDonald parking lots all night. Literary the boss of a billion dollar grow op would sell u a 20 bag if no one could work that beeper that night and the customers had know clue who he was smh . The people on this board think I have time or care enough to make this shit up . Ultimately he had bodies and after 1997 ish I never saw him again but if u want to call me there's even crazier stories about him I just don't have the grammar or patience to write. Lol

Pmac- yes mostly he was being hot with the kingpin statute for lifetime marijuana sales to use as leverage for all the murders he knew about. Charles carneglia was his best friend for example. Plenty of leverage

Are you talking about weed? Before it was legal here it was always twenty (~1.8), forty (~3.6), eighty (quarter oz), then price tended to vary more for a half or full ounce. I don't know what prices were like in other parts of the country but this was west coast. Did they charge in weird increments like $30 and $50?

Even high school dealers in the early 2000s were unhappy to sell anything less than twenty and preferred to sell eighths ($40) or more.

That's how they sell on the West Coast. The lowest they really do is 8ths. They dont really have the type of foot traffic you gonna see in like NY or Chicago.
The Cali people are more like hippie/weed nerds than businessman. That's why they keep undercutting each other to show off newer fancier grow ops. Everywhere in the country everything is up, but weed keeps going down. They can't figure it out that they need to operate like an OPEC.

If you charge for a .7 of a gram you have 40 bags per ounce. (back then....) 20 bucks apiece. Even a gram for 20 is only 28 bags. It's just way more than selling only 8ths.
I used to do this myself. But I did a hybrid strategy. I would give kids an 8th, of FIVE .7's of FIVE different strains in one bag. I called em " Skittles" bags. Because they had flavors. It was my favorite gimmick, lol. This isn't surprising..Even in Cabrini in the 90s, the best crews didn't sell anything under 20, for ANYTHING...

Also, I'm always amazed at the demand for weed. It's insatiable.....like tobacco...

What I'm wondering is how much weed was he producing indoors, that he could move 30lbs a day....

I'm assuming this is before NY became gang obsessed and was still more about getting money?

Seems like a lotta beeper action.....payphone? Codes? Was it all prearranged?

3 gram dimes of brick weed in massachusetts was a deal in 1995 to 2000. even when the weed got less compressed after 2000s 3 grams for 10 was the rate. 50 bucks for a half or 100 for a ounce you could bargain 80bucks or 90 for a O when it was dry 120ish. the weed that smelled and tasted like fabric softener was the worst it it was still around 2013 I remember my friend had pounds all over his house airing out trying to get rid of the fabric softener smell. I guess they wrapped the sheets around the weed bales on the trucks to keep dogs off the scent. it would ruin the whole 100lb batch or whatever but it was still smoked n sold....

Yeah Nadu is a proper scumbag who has a history of stealing other peoples research and claiming it as his own, its no coincidence that this thread has been active on the forum recently and Nadu's latest video which he just released is all about Peter Zuccaro.

After he did his Joseph Campanella video I posted a comment with a link to the Campanella thread on here and he deleted it… weak shit.. my gripe is that legit researchers pay and work hard for this info and share it with us when they don’t have to.. plus solali and others pay to keep the forum alive etc..
