He didn’t say exactly so far as I heard but my understanding was that it was on the UES. Pennisi noted that Scaccio’s 1st Ave apartment was across the street from where Ernie Grillo’s family had lived. In the 80s, Grillo was busted for heading a “crew” of associates operating in the area around 60th and 1st, including running an underground casino at 1122 1st Ave (btwn 61st & 62nd).

There was an Ernest Grillo, born in 1917 in NYC, who I believe was Ernie Grillo’s dad, Ernest Grillo Sr — the Grillos lived for years at 1122 1st Ave, which is where I believe Ernie Grillo grew up.

The Pennisi video briefly showed a photo of some walk up buildings, which I can confirm include 1105 1st Ave (btwn 60th & 61st).

It’s difficult to say if Pennisi is being honest about this high level informant but I will digress to say that so far, he’s been honest about his life and his former friends it seems.
He has not been caught lying and does not come across as being dishonest in his videos

As for this “informant” Well, he doesn’t like his former friends anymore so why would he tell them this? Though he doesn’t even get along with the FBI anymore but I’m sure he despises his former friends even more than the FBI because they attempted to kill him.

He’s doing his former friends a favour if what he is saying is true but again, they are the last people who he would want to do favours for.

He could be. He did release footage of patty dellorusso being recorded which I believe was relatively recently recorded. Assuming it was a legit recording which of course it may not be. But would beg the question as to how the hell he got hold of that. He also speaks very poorly of the fbi like he did in the recent video about londonio so any info that does get to him through loose lips he clearly isn’t holding back as he doesn’t seem to like the fbi much either.
In principle I agree with you, why would the fbi tell him anything but as little Al says i also have not seen him get caught in a lie yet that I can think of.
