I always assumed that Fratianno was cooperating long before Roselli died. Think those conversations with Roselli reported near verbatim in Last Mafioso were memorized? It's directly addressed in his book, he was cooperating on a low level from the time of his CHINO release in August 1973 but appears to have stopped when he was appointed to the admin in mid-1975 and then started again some months after Bompensiero was killed in February 1977 (by September that year at the latest).

Thanks for your response. If Rosselli had become the boss of the L.A family, would he have had Bompensiero killed?
