Great work, lots to digest there.
Patty Air or Patty Airport is 100% Dellorusso.
First time I’ve seen him being referred to by that name
He was called Patty Red according to Capeci
D’Arco’s book could confirm if that really was a nickname for him since he was called that years ago it seems because Pennisi has stated that he is not called Patty Red

Very interesting and thanks for posting this.
I am sure that the FBI listed Furnari as a skipper already in the early 1960s. Not impossible that he stepped down as skipper sometime later and made a skipper again in the 1970s, if that is the case.
I haven’t seen anything which indicates that he was promoted to Capo during the 60s but it’s certainly feasible that it did occur
I’ve seen a document which stated that it was the early 70s, if I remember correctly, il have to find that again

Never heard of Carew, definitely a well-placed associate with a lot of great insight. Thanks for posting it. He even knew some of the more obscure members and his account just adds to how vicious the Lucchese Brooklyn crews were.
Did Carew explicitly say Chiodo was still a captain while he was shelved? That's how that part reads and might play into something Sal Vitale said in testimony, that a member doesn't necessarily lose his rank when he is shelved. Vitale was very clear on that and it might sound weird to us but often being shelved is meant to be temporary. There are many little formalities that aren't widely known to the public.
"Sammy Grarplotto (butchered due to transcript quality) nickname is Sammy Black, he was a member “who died a few years back” he’s from the Canarsie area Graffagnino
Must be Salvatore "Blackie" Graffignino.
Thats what Carew stated about Chiodo while testifying
Pennisi has stated that being shelved is like being killed, it’s as serious as that
The old Brooklyn Faction do not hesitate if violence needs to be used
In 2017, they (meaning DeSantis,Papagni and Zappola) would have taken out members of the Bronx if Matty balked at being taken down from his position
he might have been wrong with bruno facciolo only being made recently. think he was made in 50tys. even according to little al. the guy richie pug. seemed like a nut case. i forgot where i heard it maybe that bald guys prison show on youtube but he said richie was rhe real deal in prison. he died real young to doing life.

Casso indicated in his book that Pagliarulo was a little crazy but il digress to say that what a disappointment that book turned out to be. It could have been the best book about the mob.
Pagliarulo died in 1999 from a heart attack, if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the write up Little Al!
I personally enjoyed D'Arco's book, but wish they had included parts of his 302s.
Where did you find this?
I found this on PACER from an exhibit on one of Christie Tick’s federal parole hearings
D’Arco’s book was great, I wish it was longer

Who is member Petey Barbera ? Never heard of him
Good post with info I never heard before
I haven’t heard of him before but when he testified about members, I thought that it was interesting that he met Vincent Rao who was the Consigliere many years ago

Dellorusso worked the airport for the Lucchese family early on and that's a way people would refer to him.

I went through the files and found the FBI report dated 1969.
So, according to this report, Funari was a skipper by 1969. This suggests that he was made a captain sometime in the 1960s.

Other FBI reports also says the same.
I have read about two Funari associates named Teddy (LNU) and Louis (LNU) who killed three individuals on Funari´s orders sometime in 1968ish. The story was told to the FBI by an CI who also claimed Funari was a skipper.
