Good call, I missed that at first. Bogan was on-record with Vincent Febbraro, who actually represented him in a sit-down with the Gambinos over a loansharking debt owed to Bogan.

Labeling Frank & Danny’s a ‘mob pizza shop’ sets the bar pretty low when compared to La Nova which is actually owned by a Boss.

Half the pizzerias on Staten Island are owned by guys on record with one family or another. Off the top of my head Dave’s reviewed Nonna’s, Ciro Pizza Cafe, Deninos and Giove which are all associated. Also he’s done Campania which is owned by John LaRocca of the Genovese family. If we looked into it I’m sure that’s just the tip of the iceberg
