Antiliar's source has it that he tried to steal from the Cicero crew and they whacked him in Austin to make it look like a gang thing.

Yesterday I asked my Chicago homie Pericles Abbasi if he'd ever been to Richard's (he has).

I doubt it unless it's during the day or week. It's a very small place and i would be surprised he'd be doing business amongst a bunch of 30 somethings boozing.

OK I was looking up the old info on Bobby English on here (I'm fascinated by the case; the Outfit alledgedly whacking a 24 year old kid in the 2020s is pretty out there, even as just a rumor) and I found this from Tony from a couple years ago:

Some references in Berwyn crime forums support that a “Robert English” was a well known 12th St Player member in the area. One reference claimed that when he was arrested when police from multiple suburban towns broke up a large gang party in Berwyn, he threatened officers and their families and boasted that he had “connections” that could look up their names and addresses.

So I suppose the "resisting arrest" photo above might be from this incident?

Not so sure. Some here have info that he may be a made guy. Also, there is direct evidence he may be serious, or at the very least well connected. He was the go between when Mickey Davis needed to find someone to lay a beating on a debtor. Rovito introduce him to Carparelli.

Not gonna name names here but a couple sources who I respect have alleged he's either a highly-placed associate of Cicero or a made guy in the crew. I find the latter kind of hard to believe (he comes across as borderline psychotic in his social media videos and I can't see the Outfit making someone like that), but that's what I've been told.

His role in the Carparelli case, like you noted, is what makes me think there might be something to him being more than just a restaurateur.

Oh yea he was a 12th street player. He got busted selling heroin and I also think he got arrested for shooting someone. He’s definitely from the street and capable despite how he acts on social media. Also, when he was in the joint, Harry Aleman watched over him. Was his cell mate for a while.
