Re: General Mob Questions
lol that was a interesting argument….
I never heard someone be so adamant about something that really common knowledge says otherwise …. I think in the movie FIND ME GUILTY the prosecutor even labeled him as a associate lol
But that was funny to read none the less

Re: General Mob Questions
Not sure if any of this is true but I saw it online and thought it was interesting. I’m wondering if anyone here has ever heard of this guy?
The caption reads: Colombo soldier Matt ‘Matty Gas’ Auriemma, from Queens. Based out of a strong Brooklyn based crew. Matt was an associate of the Gambino family since he was young and was on record with his now shelved cousin Frank ‘Frankie Car Wash’ Guidice who spent a total of 17 years in prison. Matt was offered to be made by the Gambino’s twice and turned them down both times after seeing what they did to his cousin. Franks captain Mike Scarola shelved Frank and he and Frank Radice robbed Frank and his son Mike Guidice of all the money they had out on the street which was allegedly close to a million dollars. Mike Scarola also took all of Franks associates and put them with him.
Matt was the only associate in that crew who stood up to them and wanted nothing to do with them. Matt went to war with Scarola, Radice and any other Gambino soldiers who stood in his way. Matt is very well liked by all the families. Many people respected his move of going to war with the Howard Beach faction of the Gambino’s, it was said he was the only one who had the balls to do what everyone else wanted to do but was scared to do.

Never heard of him. I'm sure queensnyer will know who he is and if all that's true.
Re: General Mob Questions
I'm curious where they got this nickname for Guidice from. Frogiero is known as Vinny car wash.

Re: General Mob Questions
I saw this earlier before it was taken down and thought it was little suspect. Guys going to war these days you would of heard about
Re: General Mob Questions
Wasn't Guidice just recently shelved too and only according to Alite and Borrello? Would mean in a short time this guy went from an associate to resisting Scarola, being released to the Colombos, and made all in a fairly short time period.
Re: General Mob Questions
There was a beef between the Gurino crew and Asaro's crew in the late 2000s early 2010s. Looking at my notes I can verify that Frank Guidice was referred to as Frankie from the car wash by Asaro and the Bonannos. Guidice and Frogiero were partners in a car wash and in a place called Carvell in Queens which they bought off Asaro. They owed Asaro and the Bonannos money.

Re: General Mob Questions
The best lies are always mixed with a little truth. The part with Scarola and Radice stealing all the money Guidice had on the street after they shelved him certainly seemed plausible.
Re: General Mob Questions
I read somewhere that one of Nicky Scarfo's sons was driven to suicide either in school or college. I wonder if Nicky Scarfo avenged his son?
Re: General Mob Questions
It was his son Mark. He hung himself when I think he was 16 or 17. His lawyer told him the news and apparently did not even skip a beat. The only ‘avenging’ was Nicky writing to his wife through prison and blamed Mark’s death on her.
