He lived in country club for a long time. Not far from Mancuso or George from Canada.

When you factor in nearby Pelham bay and throngs neck, that area had a lot of power in early-mid 2000s.

Bonnanos has George, then acting boss in Vinny b. and his whole crew. Mancuso. Patty.

West side had quiet Dom, uncle patty, sally ko, Stevie a, Ernie. (I can’t remember if Artie was around or in parkchester.) dinapoli. Ralphie operated in the area.

Luchesse leadership was nearby. Casablanca too.

It was an interesting time. Not that I had any inside knowledge of what was going on. But the amount of places where you could gamble, stick around after hours, smoke indoors. I wonder if it’s still like that now.

Are you not thinking of Dom Cefalu?
Nah, I remember reading about a Bronx based mobster that lived like that. From what I know Cefalù isn’t Bronx based

There was an old article about Cirillo back in the day I remember reading, from back when he lived in the Bronx, that said when he was being trailed by agents - they basically followed him every morning into East Harlem where he'd be visiting older family members and bringing them food and coffee.

There was a poster on the RD who said that Cirillo had moved to Long Beach to live with his daughter and could be spotted at the same bar every day hanging out and watching the races. Forget who that poster was but it was someone who had presumably spotted him in Long Beach

Is Cirillo's son-in-law made?

It's the Bronx, up there near Pelham Bay. Which makes me think about Louie & Ernie's!

I've only seen him identified as an associate, though the last time was over a decade ago.

Cirillo lived in a modest middle class house with his wife in CC. Several relatives also still live in the neighborhood.

Artie Nigro lived in the Neck, by Hollywood and Randall. His funeral was at Sisto’s on Tremont.
