America’s Most Wanted - Vic And Gas

Post by Little_Al1991 »

Does anyone know where to find America’s Most Wanted Season 4 Episode 27? It aired on March 15th, 1991.
July 28th, 1991, Amuso was captured.
It could have many new pictures that we haven’t seen before

I saw that on TV when it aired. Pretty good reenactments. I remember John Walsh saying the Lucchese family had three factions - one in Brooklyn, one in the Bronx, and one in New Jersey.
All roads lead to New York.

The FBI used AMW in a few mafia cses. when they had the wire up and running in the Cirelli apt. they had the Castelanno hit replayed to see if Gotti would mention anything on tape about it. When Alphonse Persico was on the 10 Most wanted List Scarpa was reactivated and gave up his Connecticut hideout. To covre for Scarpa who was the conduit for Preswico, they had Frank bender do a bust of Persico and aired the show. They then told everyone the bustt led to his capture. I forgtet who gave up Amuso - Casso? - but something similar played out when Amuso was busted oint he phone booth. The FBi said it came from a tipster who saw the show. It's all bullshit at the end of the day!

Mobfax posted the AMW episode on the Castellano hit, and he said he'll try to find the Amuso episode when someone asked about it 6 months ago:

I’m sure the tipster was Anthony Casso
