Nice work on Saraceno.

Ignazio and Frank Cannone were nephews of Stefano and Natale Evola was Ignazio's godfather.

Konigsberg stated that Petrone was underboss prior to Galante followed by John Morale. I don't think Petrone was underboss, since Galante wasn't, but it's no doubt he was an important member.

Speaking of Konigsberg and the Galante crew, he also said that while Galante was on trial Zicarelli was his acting captain, but when Galante was convicted he appointed Notaro as acting captain.

A Gambino source close to Joe Paterno also said John Petrone was appointed consigliere by Joe Bonanno around the time of Bonanno's staged kidnapping and that Petrone consulted with Carlo Gambino about what he should do.

Busciglio was killed a week after having a heated argument at DeCavalcante affiliate Carlo Cimo's home. Cimo was also from Alessandria della Rocca and DeCav members John LaMela and Vincenzo LaBarbera had heritage there as well, LaBarbera being related to capoprovincia Giuseppe Settecase who was killed in 1981. Busciglio worked for Local 394 and was once suspected of being a DeCavalcante.

Salvo returned to Sicily after being born in the US. He had a condo in the Tampa area and was close to Tampa members, unsurprising given Tampa was the main landing place for Alessandria della Rocca. One of the Jacksonville-based Tampa members was married to a Busciglio from ADR too.

Is there any known connection between this Mirabile and the L.A. Family Mirabiles ( Antonio and Paolo). They were original associated with the Detroit Family and I believe (not sure though) their origins were Partinico as well. I only draw the possible connection because Joe Bonanno himself was photographed with Tony Mirabile and were supposed business associates (according to Bill Bonanno).
I would like to dig more into this association.

The LA Mirabiles were from Alcamo but it's not far from Partinico and even closer to Castellammare.

Tony Mirabile is a interesting little know character wthin moblore. San Diego being a city I lived in I know alittle about him but haven't been able to uncover the Joe Bonanno angle when it comes to Mirable. I thought it might be with the Mirabiles within the Bonanno Family?

LCNBios posted a list of Bonanno deaths from 58-75. He lists Vito Bello(died April of 1966) as likely being the Tony Bello who Bompensiero identified.

Vito Bello was born in Mazzara del Vallo in Trapani in 1904. He lived in Williamsburg and later Ozone Park. He has a couple of arrests, and it looks like he operated in New Jersey since there was a Vito Bello of the same age arrested there in the 20s/30s. Once for operating a still, and the other for murder.(Paging JoelTurner)

One of the witnesses to his first naturalization in 1931 was Giovanni Battista DiBella. He was denaturalized in 1944 for unknown reasons. He reentered the US through Buffalo in 1950, and ended up in San Diego by 1953 where he petitioned to become a naturalized citizen again. His occupation was listed as "restaurant owner".

Excellent!

Interesting his naturalization was witnessed by Daras as Willie Dara's family was from Mazara like Bello and lived in Ozone Park like him. These ones were in San Diego but could be a tie-in.
