I agree and would absolutely buy the book. That book could potentially be New York's Mafia Prince type book.SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Sun Jun 18, 2023 9:12 pmMy biggest surprise isnt Joe not doing the circut. Its Vitale. He was genuinely agrieved at Joe, disrespected, effectively shelved. the family abandoned him. Whats he holding on too?
Coppa, Lino, D'Amico etc Who gives a f.
But surely Sal's book would sell. I'd buy it and put odds 95% of this site would too.

I believe Cantarella mentioned in an interview that he thinks Massino is living in New Mexico. Sal Vitale is apparently in Florida.

I never understood why California isn't a big hit with these informants. Taxes maybe. Outside of the major cities, California is a perfect place to live comfortably and privately.

Joey Diaz did 16 months in a low security facility Colorado. From there, he's casted himself Cuban Corporation Bolita boss. Speaking like he's a real gangster "my jacket", "I don't need 2 murders on my jacket right now". He's from a working class Hudson County town and graduated from North Bergen High School.

Do you believe his wife with him? Years ago someone I know saw her at a wake/viewing in Queens? Do you think it all an act and they're in contact? Hard to believe he's slumming it alone.

What does him being from Hudson County and graduating from a good high school have to do with being a gangster?outfit guy wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 6:18 am Joey Diaz did 16 months in a low security facility Colorado. Sociologically, a lot. But first, are you defining gangster as only Italian? If so, then no need to proceed. Most gangsters, from the Mexican, to the Vice Lords, are not reared in a traditional (2-parent home) working class family and very often don't graduate high school - or don't excel. An analysis focusing on the likelihood of crime and demographics (Sociology), of which there are many, bare this out. Citing someone from a solid family and with a certificate of graduation is not impossible; it's also not impossible to cite all the posers (including over-dressed bookmakers).
