Relative of Cosimo Commisso (GTA) killed

Since about 2015, I've wondered what happens if the Mexicans get a toehold in Canada? What if they make a deal with the Hells or some other powerful gang, how that would affect the mafia.

The life story for the murdered Commisso is finally up. Here's the link:

His father is Claudio Commisso, brother to Raymond Commisso. These brothers, along with their siblings, are first cousins to the more well-known Commisso brothers.

One of the more important pieces of information from the obituary is that Chantelle Almeida was not the girlfriend of the murdered Commisso.

The news stories about the double homicide, along with at least one accompanying news video, mention for the most part both the Yorkville (Toronto) and Woodbridge (Vaughan) locations of the Dimmi Bar & Trattoria, which have been referred to as being owned and operated by the family. For several years I have been convinced that Vittorio Mirarchi visited the Toronto location in October 2011 for a meeting with GTA Siderno Group members. Peter Edwards and Antonio Nicaso wrote about this meeting in Business or Blood without mentioning the restaurant's name, and Edwards had also previously alluded to Mirarchi's having been at this restaurant--again, without mentioning it by name-- in the Vito Rizzuto biography (e-book) that Edwards penned quite a number of years ago.

I'm of the belief that the Commisso clan here in the GTA did not have a gripe against Vito Rizzuto's wife's relatives who live here (only some of whom would be involved in organized crime). Giovanna Cammalleri Rizzuto's first cousin, once removed was at Dimmi in Yorkville last September when he was there to celebrate his wife's birthday. Here's the link to his Instagram post:

Interesting that these guys are still using the Akwesasne Reservation to transport and distribute the drugs, just as some of the New York Families did with Alcohol and Cigarettes during Prohibition. BTW any Upstate New York guys on here, you can get a carton of cigarettes for $18.00 on the Akwesasne Reservation in Massena and the Onondaga Reservation in Syracuse.

Keeping my eyes and ears open about this criminal matter being spoken to tomorrow. This Raimondo Commisso is likely the individual better known as Raymond.

In Ontario, the Superior Court of Justice, among many other matters, hears appeals from summary conviction cases that are heard in the sister court known as the Ontario Court of Justice. These two courts are the divisions that constitute the Court of Ontario.

When the case type or line of business is criminal, the Superior Court of Justice — for the most part — tries only the most serious criminal offences, which include drug trafficking, manslaughter, and murder. A person accused of any of these is tried by a Superior Court of Justice judge, sitting either with or without a jury.

But Raymond Commisso wasn’t charged in Project OPhoenix, Project OTremens, or Project Briscola. So what the fuck is he currently charged with?

No. Over the weekend I did pass on yesterday's docket info to a journalist who, even if they can't attend the courthouse in person for this matter, plans to inquire about the charge(s). The matter is not on today's or tomorrow's docket.

I'm just very surprised how hush-hush this all is -- no news releases / communiqués by law-enforcement agencies, no press conferences, no newspaper articles.

I'm just very surprised how hush-hush this all is -- no news releases / communiqués by law-enforcement agencies, no press conferences, no newspaper articles.

Raimondo Commisso’s matter is on the docket again at the Newmarket courthouse, north of Toronto. I still don’t know what the charges are.
