All heroin in Europe used to come from Afghanistan thru Turkey. But Taliban poppy ban changed stuff. Now we still get heroin from Turkey but its Turkish, fentanyl in Europe is very rare. But because of poppy ban we could see increase of fentanyl on market.

They’ll do 100 kilos of heroin/fent and then use the same machine to do 300 kilos of coke right after. There is fent residue all over the press, and it’s contaminating the cocaine. It’s gonna take years to undo the damage. I know so many people that used to causally use cocaine and now they won’t touch it with a 50 foot pole.
I think any cross contamination is happening at a local level, a much smaller level where the dealer is closer to the end user on the foodchain. The contamination isn't really happening at the production/wholesale level. To the cartels those are like 2 completely separate operations - products (cocaine and "heroin"...really fentanyl analogues) that are sourced from completely different locations, packaged at different locations, and trafficked here using different methods. I think the cross contamination thing is overblown - definitely scary and not worth playing around with - but it's more likely it's happening on a local level where some mid level dealer stateside got sloppy, versus it happening at production/packaging

Im pretty sure fetti started from the chinese tho....

And from my understanding the mexican heroin that was once a huge thing (black tar heroin) has been replaced competly by fentanyl

I saw some chart DEA released a few months ago on Sinaloa cartel , it says chinese are supplies of fentanyl.

But i agree with what you sad earlier , if people are so used to shooting up fentanyl , heroin won't do much to them. Its like drinking beer after being used to whiskey.
