Makes you ask the question... WHO could pay in coke? Besides Miriarchi? Does this mean Miriarchi is firmly with the sicilians and not an independent?

Was a faction of the Hells under Martin Robert trying to sieze a portion of the sportsbets? Have they abdicated that claim now?

If this conflict was over Bookmaking, who (maybe?) took the contract for coke? Gangs?

When I saw Whooley was back in the fold, I felt like Rizzutos had gained some breathing room.....

This is neither here nor there, but this is very similar to how Frank Vincent's character, Phil Leotardo, was whacked out in broad daylight on The Soprano's. Eventually, all the activity becomes too bad for business on both sides and they agree to eliminate the issue. Less realistic on Soprano's though, in terms of New Jersey family whacking the boss of a NY family.
