Re: Baby Shacks
So did he "step aside" when Limone got released??
Can someone break down the "factions " of Patriarcas??
DiNunzio bros I think are said to be acting boss. Of what? Not sure.
I enjoy NE history they really had a lot....
Boston has it's own history going back to Irish Wars... Angulio Family is a good read too... Whitey drama.... etc etc
I remember when the Consigliere flipped around 2010ish. I forgot his name.... Rosetti??
That was around the end of the Real Deal days pretty much. Had a great poster who was pretty active in the know back then too.

TJ was one of the better posters on New England but he doesn't post any longer because of the personal attacks. Reach out to him privatelyJeremyTheJew wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 3:45 am So did he "step aside" when Limone got released??

I know the Lehr book Underboss had some good information on Jerry, but it also focused a lot on the FBI. I'd love a book dedicated to the Angiulos and the North End.
Re: Baby Shacks
I bet theres aton of Boston globe articles on the anguilo brother rico trial in 86 or whenever it was. It lasted a few months. I found out they were all free on bail during the trial except gerry cause he was the underboss and deemed dangerous
Re: Baby Shacks
Goes back to how ray jr was able to leap frog over all the other older guys and capo's on the street when ray sr died in july 84. I think nick bianco was in jail for tax evasion. But there was alot more experienced guys then ray jr who was only made in 1977. I read Larry Bione backed him. Wonder why he didnt back jr russo

Hi Jake what do you make of these informant reports about Baby Shacks?https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.htm ... lPageId=29 it looks like Louis Manocchio was a roommate of Frank Salemme's during their time in New York. on p. 35 it looked the FBI interviewed the doorman of the building that both Salemme and Manocchio were living at. He describes Manocchio as a sharp dresser.JakeTheSnake630 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 5:56 am In my opinion he is one of the most interesting LCN figures of the last few decades. Hes been around forever, was successful on the lam for ten years, respected by other families, and is extremely intelligent and disciplined. I'm sure hes retired now but he had one of the longest runs in LCN at least in NE area. Would love to see a book come out one day. Any thoughts or hard to come by info anyone has?
I guess by then Flemmi was living somewhere else in NYC before he moved to Montreal.

The RealDeal forums weren’t “locked” till August 2016. Kenny Torro owned the site, and he didn’t respond to David Amoruso’s entreaties to provide what David needed to continue running it on Kenny’s behalf, i.e., access to the entire mainframe. Some 16 months later, posters were still asking in David’s Gangsters Inc. Real Deal Forum (not the original) whether the original would ever be up again.
Incidentally, there is this topic here on TBHF: "Real deal dead?" (https://theblackhand.club/forum/viewtop ... f=36&t=667). Screenshot to which I’ve linked below is from that thread.

He was in France for a while on the lam. I think I read somewhere he lives above a business in Fed Hill. He must live comfortably though no?
