I’m pretty surprised by this, Landusco and the rest of DeCarlo’s guys didn’t seem to have a connection to the old Newark family.

I wonder if Badami’s killers had to clear the hit with Landusco considering they were going to leave his sister a widow.

The CI was with the Newark office, “NK 2541-PC”. I have no idea who the Newark office would’ve had developed as informants by 1967, so no idea if the CI in question could’ve been a member himself.

Sabato was born in 1907, I feel like that makes it more likely he was made in the ‘50s rather than in the ‘70s when he would have been pretty old.

I don’t think Napoli was made before the books reopened.

I don’t think so. On the DeCarlo tapes, they contact Gene Catena multiple times over issues related to Stassi. He was likely in that crew.

He probably had a personal relationship with Jerry Catena, they were both close to Nick Delmore and other Jewish associates from Prohibition era.

This was the Bergen/Passaic faction of the Catena crew. These guys, along with Anthony Saita, had likely been a part of Willie Moretti’s crew.
