The Barney being boss thing - I think he mentioed he was trying to downplay his role to protect him like newera mentioned in his previous post, like newera said I'm not sure what the point of doing that was - he would allude to others being heavyweights/ heaviliy involved in that life.

I think he was a nice guy that loved being this street guy guru on GangsterBB and it caught up with him.

Skinny was the best "street guy" on GBB in my opinion, not sure if that guy ended up being a fraud too

He would say different things to different posters all the time. When someone confronted him about it, he always had an answer. He was nice to most people, but there were people who got burned because of their interactions with him. I wonder if anyone visited him in Delray or wherever his place in Florida supposedly was lol

I think we should lay off PB. I’ve never spoken to him in my life but have been on the boards for 15 years or so. I don’t believe him on everything but I do think he spoke in good faith. Piling up on him when he’s not around to defend himself isn’t a good look.

I agree. Back in the day I chatted with PB quite a bit and found him to be correct more often than not. All in all, a really interesting guy

That's it right there. What he did to some people who thought of him as a friend was sinister in nature, and I don't use that term lightly. It went way beyond just bullshitting about mob stuff. Anyway, I'm done derailing the thread. Any future comment of mine about that guy will be in the graveyard if I decide to waste more energy.

As far as Crea goes, PB wasn't entirely wrong about him. Pennisi (and Capeci) said he was considered the main power on the street. It's just that Vic was always the boss.
