Please. It is 2023 in the most populated city in the United States. It shouldn’t take “years or even decades” for confirmation evidence to emerge that a drive by shooting against a notorious public figure has taken place. Especially when the people that have been reporting on said figure for the past 20 years have said nothing about it for the past 3 months.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

How much original published research have you done? How much reporting have you done using confidential sources?Pogo The Clown wrote: ↑Fri Mar 24, 2023 7:23 pm Please. I doubt he was on the shelf at that point. He and Russo were photographed at a meeting with Petey Red's crew in the early 2000s.

If it were a small gambling charge some guys would swear the Government was picking on them.....lolNorthBuffalo wrote: ↑Fri Mar 24, 2023 6:38 amwell said - it's amazing with the epidemic the government hypes that the DA would allow a plea deal like this. Albanese especially has an incredible record.newera_212 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2023 12:59 pm Genovese guys getting another sweet plea deal once again lol. Not to say the charges weren't total bullshit, but still - they pled to a conspiracy where they were giving away the pills, knew they were being resold for money, and never got any $ in return? Huh?
I didn't think they belonged behind bars for this personally, but that's just my bleeding heart bullshit talking... realistically anyone else (anyone younger, at least) would have gotten a lot more than community service for a repeat pattern of transferring opiates to a 3rd party for resale, with the legitimacy of their scripts having nothing to do with anything. "I was throwing out the ones I wasn't taking at the end of the month" - interesting... yet you were going back each month to get a new script? Why not have one script stretch out over 2-3 months then? Even drug illiterate housewives getting a script after surgery know how much those things are worth lol
It's just funny the mental gymnastics it took to come up with the plea deal here. Salute to them though

There’s no real actual proof on either side of this, maybe everything Scott said happened and maybe none of it did. I’m not convinced of anything and the population of NYC certainly isn’t a determining factor.

Long Island is part of NYC or it’s metropolitan area dumbass.

In this case it is. It defies credulity to think that a drive by shooting against a public figure in the present day could occur in a place like NYC without generating some evidence that it happened. No police reports, no media mentions, no mention by Capeci (despite being aware of the articles for months), nothing. We are not talking about something that may or may not happened in 1923 in the plains of Wyoming. Hell it is almost impossible to spit on a sidewalk in a place like NY without showing up on some form of surveillance.

Pogo I can tell by that statement that you’ve only seen NY on tv and movies. Long Island isn’t midtown Manhattan. Nassau and Suffolk are completely different balls of wax compared to the boroughs.

Nassau County - 1,391,000 people as of 2021.
Suffolk County - 1,526,000 people as of 2021.
Not exactly out in the desolate sticks. My point still stands.

You’re just proving my point even more with your statistics. Take my lifetime of experience living in the city over your internet stats.
Now forgive if I’m wrong here but this ‘drive by shooting’ you guys keep mentioning wasn’t it on an empty house in the middle of the night and wasn’t it actually reported on in some local newspaper? Or are you talking about something else?
