There was an article from the Inquirer at the time of the Ligambi trial where one of their reporters (not Anastasia) wrote that Michael Orlando said Al Lance was made. However, I've seen some of Orlando's testimony and when talking about the Lancellottis he only identifies Michael Lancellotti as made. I can't say for sure because I haven't specifically seen the testimony from that day but I suspect the reporter misinterpreted what Orlando said. I put Al Lance under suspected because that article is the only source I can find for his membership

Bellocchi wanted to be made but wasn't.

Paleo, the Pepicellis, and Tanso were part of the Boston crew. Tanso was co-hosting Luisi's YouTube show for a while until they had a big falling out. The Pepicellis are Luisi's cousins. Paul Pepicelli was acting captain of the crew whenever Luisi was out of town.

Cimino is a bookmaker who got pinched in a state gambling case in the 2000s. Lou Monacello testified that Borgesi wanted to propose Cimino for membership because he was a good earner.

Vito Malgeri is with the North Jersey crew. On the tapes made by Nick Stefanelli, Malgeri's name came up. He was around Vincent Centorino but Licata was going to take him and put him with Fazzini so they could see whether or not they wanted to propose him for membership.

Louis DeAngelo is in a lot of recent surveillance footage and photographs. Dave Schratwieser described him as a 'foot soldier'. His son is a professional hockey player.

Wiseguy wrote: Fri Mar 10, 2023 9:56 am Who is Anthony Gambino?
He is Tommaso Gambino's younger brother and another of Rosario's sons. Derek Galanis, some sort of drug dealer who was around the Gambino brothers in Los Angeles, says both were made by Milano. Here is a post from B. from a while back regarding Tony Gambino:
B. wrote: Tue Dec 20, 2022 5:33 pm Not sure who the source was on Tony Gambino being made, but a former member of the life who knew them also believes he was made in LA. Not 100% though.
I think the former member is maybe Mikey Scars? Kenji only references Anthony once as "gangland royalty" but doesn't give info on his status otherwise as far as I know.
Also Nicholas LaBruzzo/69. Unlike Sciortino, he's actually been identified as made elsewhere besides the forums.
I had thought Sciortino's membership was confirmed, also did not realize that LaBruzzo was another to add - thought he was just an old associate. If Sciortino is removed, it seems like Pete Simone is the "highest ranking" guy left then.
Maybe remove Bruno Caruso and add Robert Bellavia though it's ultimately a wash. Total number is right.
Seems like it depends where you look, I was not sure on Bellavia but he probably can go on as well. I'm sure the Chicago guys will have some answers about these two.
Don't think Palazzo is made
I had seen old posts about him apparently being in the same ceremony as Trupiano and Bartolotta but there is very little STL info out there. For what its worth, he is not on the 1985 FBI list unlike both the other guys.
These are the ones who have been identified as made beyond just the forums.

1. Paul A. Corrado/64
2. Paul A. Corrado/59
3. Peter Jack Corrado/66
4. Dominick Corrado/52
5. Jack Vito Giacalone/73
6. Joseph Giacalone/83
7. Anthony LaPiana/82
Thanks, was wondering on who the official guys were, could only really confirm the few I listed originally. Joseph Giacalone is listed as being 25 years old in the Hoffex memo, so he'd only be in his 70s now but I've seen the exact figure vary.
He died recently.
The Eugene Smaldone that died recently was Clyde Smaldone's son, he was in his 90s and probably not even a criminal. Eugene Louis Smaldone is/was the son of Eugene "Checkers" Smaldone and was the dope dealer son that was shunned by the family - "Flipper" is his nickname. Not sure if he is still alive, couldn't locate an obituary.
I think Celestino and Anthony Colombo are dead. You can also add Frank Frassetto Sr/73 and David Nardozzi/79.
Surprised how many Rochester members are left. Thanks for the info.

If Sciortino's membership has been confirmed in other sources, I'd be interested to see them. I'm not 100% either way. Just that the forums are the only places I've seen him alleged to be made. I did see his name on an old chart involving a KC bookmaking operation from decades ago but it didn't have ranks or anything like that.

Ah, I see. Well, considering Eugene Smaldone Jr. wasnt on tge 1985 or 1993 FBI lists, I doubt the younger one was ever made.
Surprised how many Rochester members are left. Thanks for the info.
The 1993 FBI chart for Rochester had 32 names (Buffalo had 49). Over the past 30 years, at least 25 have died.

Bellavia, Bruno Caruso, and Rocco Lombardo have all been listed as made. Joseph DiFronzo and Michael Talarico have also been, but there status as members is seriously doubtful. The source for this is the Chicago Police Department booklet which has listings of crews with additional identifications of "made" members. I'm almost certain they received this intel from the FBI as they worked together on task forces investigating the Chicago LCN.

I'm sure there are more that are unnamed, but they haven't been identified by official LE sources.

It is sorta similar to Angelo Marino's son, Salvatore, the San Jose guy. I also doubt either Smaldone was made.

Sciortino I think was related to the Civellas in some manner as well, also don't really have any insight into KC personally.

I did compile some names but ultimately didn't include the list - looking back now, they should probably have been there:
• Paul Carparelli, 55
• Anthony Dote, 71
• Christopher Spina, 70
• Gary Gagliano, 80
• Nicholas Cataduella, 64
• Louis Rainone, 50s
• Robert Panozzo Snr, 63
• Matteo Lobue
• Massimo Lobue
• Jason Nitti
• Dino Marino, 65
• Nicholas Ferriola, 47

I'm sure I missed some names here for suspected members in any case.

Thanks for the info and explanation. Do you know if Joseph DiFronzo is still alive? He'd be very old these days.
