He started doing the act long before he was the Boss so conceivably the administration could have told him to knock it off if they had a problem with. Evidently they didn't.

Yeah that’s what’s so shocking, no one told him to stop or tone it down. He obviously took it pretty far. I’m surprised no one thought it looked weak silly or bought even more attention. It’s really incredible that Chin would even convince several doctors he was crazy. He had the act down pat.

Patrick played his interview with Rudy (it’s around the 140 mark) for Sammy , wow the things that Rudy G was saying. That’s like the first time anyone has said anything bad about the Chin. He was saying all kinds of things like he wasnt in any leadership position, they were all lying to him, he was disliked, he wasn’t smart etc etc. lol . Rudy's fall from grace has been so slow, steady, and progressive that it almost outshines his "good years" - he had a great 20 year run as a golden boy until maybe right after 9/11 - ever since then it's been a slow and steady fall off. The bad years have totaled longer than the good years and his legacy might be completely destroyed, as he's going to be remembered as a senile grifting cuck. It's kind of sad, and it's very strange to see happen. What's really sad is that unless he's just that hard headed, he really has nobody in his corner to keep him from shooting himself in the foot. There have been so many things he's done and said that just shouldn't have happened. You'd think he'd have someone looking out for him.

He's a reckless alcoholic who had been taken to the cleaners from the women in his life. Especially the last one, she was a real viper, she took his soul and he'll never find it again. Dude is just a fucking mess.

I think he's referring to Savino. Casso believed him to be a rat. So did Benny Mangano, who told Casso he agreed with him about Savino but "Chin loves the guy so there's nothing we can do." Gigante definitely let his guard down on that one.

Was it Caracappa and Eppolito who told Casso that Pete Savino was an informer?

Eppolito told Casso and I think he may have even provided the paperwork but when Vic and Gas told Chin, they decided to put a gun into Savino’s mouth.Benny Eggs was there when they did that if I remember correctly.Somehow he managed to convince them he wasn’t an informer.
Vic and Gas couldn’t hurt the guy since Chin didn’t give permission.After it was revealed that Savino was an informant, Vic said “That asshole should shoot himself now” referring to Chin.

Savino is lucky he was hooked up with the Westside...Vic and Gas woulda hit him on just the rumor he was talking to the Feds...
