Yes, he’s a south jersey captain last I heard. Not sure if he’s acting or official.

I never heard that his Dad was a made guy. That's ....interesting when your kid is playing a professional sport.

The guy behind Merlino who is walking out of the NYC Courthouse is a South Philly guy named Lou DeAngelo Sr. He's an Associate and runs with the guys in South Philly. He has two sons one named Lou Jr who runs around with the guys downtown and another son named Tony who is actually in the NHL and currently plays for the NY Rangers.
