The house I grew up in was this exact model (New Jersey). Our whole street was. Same design, windows, etc.

The home of reputed Rockford LCN boss Salvatore Galluzzo at 4812 Woodridge Road. The guy was worth a few million but lived here from the late 1960s until his death in 2016.

Nothing wrong with that...why draw attention to yourself with the FBI and IRS? Many of the old timers, especially those who truly lived by a secret society, lived very modestly because they didn't want anybody to know what they were doing.
