Hopefully Silva could be the Rizzuto-Sollecito faction counterpart of the unnamed informant on the Scoppa side in terms of giving us a fuller picture of the conflict

When it was revealed he began cooperating I didn't think he'd be able to bring any big names down but a lot of these articles sound like he was in contact with the upper echelon of not only the mafia but several of the criminal groups in Montreal.

Here he is shown with Rizzuto and Sollecito leaving Trudeau airport and it was said all 3 had luggage with them.

Here he's shown walking with Woolley after leaving Café Bistro Empire, which was owned by Vito Salvaggio at one point.

Definitely newsworthy and, IMHO, an insight into what might have happened or may be happening with the mafia-81s relationship -- thanks for posting! As long as the Italians are still on good terms with HA Martin Robert, Cazzetta's expulsion might not mean much for we mobwatchers.

Interesting Lapresse says Barberio's shooting may have been related to a conflict with a biker. The 3 main mafia figures that are said to be close with the Montreal HA are Marco Pizzi, Davide Barberio, and Francesco Del Balso. If I'm Pizzi I might be a little nervous right now considering 2 out of the 3 have been targeted in the last 14 months.
