So I’m assuming around the pizza connection time they had to have been involved also - anyone have any ideas about the triads/tongs involvement with the pizza connection

If you're talking Chinese traffickers on the ground in the U.S., it seems they were more peripheral players during the Pizza Connection. But afterwards they quickly filled the void in NYC and some other cities with their "China White" heroin for about a decade before the Colombians took over in the east.
